I walked into Hideaway Hair Lounge with total amazement at how everything looked so delightful and charming at the hair studio and Meadow & Moon. I left the hair studio feeling totally gratified and satisfied with both my hair and my whole experience while I was there. I even shopped a little. A big thank you to Victoria for being the incredible hairstylist that you are! I love my hair! Victoria and Renata make an awesome team!

Renata is beyond phenomenal. Hideaway Hair lounge is not only the coolest new place on Bank Street -South end but it's also any amazing place for anyone looking for something new. Renata knows hair and she truly knows what looks great based on hair texture, condition, face shape and life style. For anyone in a hair rut.... you are in the best of hands with Renata.I had the worst hair as a result of hormonal changes & menopause. I felt like I had no hair left. With a shorter cut and Balayage not only does my hair feel healthy again, it looks 3 times thicker. I have recommended Renata to friends in the past and they have come back saying they have never had a better cut or colour.She is truly gifted in what she does. Hair is an art form to her and her clients are her canvas.

From the moment you arrive at Hideaway Hair you feel like you’ve been transported to a New York style loft. The atmosphere is fresh, inviting and like no other in Ottawa. A Woman owned business where you can not only see but feel the hard work and passion that has gone into opening this amazing space.Renata has got to be one of the most patient stylist that has touched my head (I’m picky and very particular.) I have baby fine hair that has gone through a lot. I like to change my hair more than the average person and Renata has kept it healthy and in good shape. I told Renata that I wanted more shape to my cut as my thin hair runs flat on my head. Not only did she give me one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever had, but it grew out so nicely in between visits. I have transitioned from a full platinum blonde to a warmer balayage where Renata has done ever so effortlessly without damaging my hair. Renata listens to your wants and suggests based off her professional opinion what would work best for your hair type/end goal. Renata stays up to date with all the new techniques and you can tell based off of how meticulous she is.I can go on and on about how amazing this space is and most importantly Renata as a stylist but I would just book an appointment and see for yourself! Thank you Ren for making me a Hideaway hair client for life!

This place is a relaxing, little oasis in the south end of the city--perfect for anyone that is looking for top quality hair styling that doesn't want to make the drive downtown. The stylists are so talented, sweet and really easy to talk to. They make you feel at home from the moment you step foot in the door, which is fitting, as the place is styled like a cozy, industrial apartment--complete with an incredible little patio for the warmer months! I've been working with Renata to breathe some fresh life into my neglected pandemic hair, and the results are always amazing. A true gem of a salon!

If I could give 10 stars I would! They have created such a welcoming and loving safe environment! I’ve been going to Victoria for years after I received a bad haircut, and there is no one else I would trust with my hair again besides her! She is so amazing at what she does and gives really amazing advice on how to maintain and manage your hair! My hair has never looked or felt healthier! Your hair is not in any better hands than with Victoria and Renata! They are amazing at what they do!

Love love my hair!!! Got some blond highlights with cut and style by Renata and she did such a amazing job and made some great recommendations for colour and cut. She used Aveda colour and the blond is by far the nicest blond I’ve ever had. The new salon is gorgeous, warm and welcoming.

Hideaway Hair Lounge is a beautiful space with amazing service! I’ve been seeing Victoria for colour and cut and love the results every time. Love that it’s a women owned business and you can really tell that they put a lot of care into their brand and client experience.

Victoria is the best there is! I always leave the salon super happy with my cut and colour. The salon has such a pleasant and aesthetically pleasing vibe. My go-to spot.
