Amazing museum with some of the best exhibits I've seen. Wonderful period photos showing actual items in the museum. If you get the chance, take the tour with Peter! He's amazing - he knows so much interesting information! Donations accepted - no entrance fee.

Ashcroft Museum
As museums go,this is one of the best small town museums I have ever explored. Going through, you get a variety of views of the town in its many different lives. It was a part of the gold trail once the railway got here. The town was at a later time important for its potatoes and also boasted a tomato cannery. Ranches raising cattle for meat supplies the gold mìnerrs too.they have a good depiction of the coal mines that operated here. An excellent way to pass a couple of hours.

Can't say enough positive things about our experience here. Clean, organized, and well put together exhibits on local history. The museum was engaging but what made the whole experience incredible was Peter who gave a tour of the whole museum as well as shared the history of Ashcroft with us. His knowledge and passion shone through. I've been to many museums but this one is the best

Wonderful museum.Things are nicely organized and presented.Lots to look at and explore.I went in expecting this to be a 10 min stop and ended up staying over an hour.Drop by for a look, you won't regret it.PS: The Curator is wonderful too!

Ashcroft Museum
Ashcroft Art museum was full of artifacts from ashcroft's unsurprisingly Rich history.The curator was engaging and captivating and very knowledgeable about everything to do with not only the museum but also the town and surrounding areas and the people living there past and present.The tour was a little bit long but it was well worth the stop. I highly recommend going there!
