Amin S Dr

Dr Amin has performed many surgeries, all successful on my collapsed ear drum since I was a child. Even decade later she is still my specialist and I saw her today for a re collapsed ear drum. Shes excellent with kids, shes thorough and explains well. She is very talented and really knows what shes talking about.The hearing test specialist was very empathetic and soft spoken and kind.While her reception area is difficult to get a hold of via phone and her receptionist abit curt, it is all to run a successful clinic as they do. Strict rules on no food and drink in clinic.There should be an attached a video I took of how to get to her door from the entrance as she is in a building with many others.In short, I would highly recommend Dr Amin, she herself is spectacular and talented ears nose and throat specialist regardless of how put off you may be by her stern reception.

She is caring and compassionate, she listens and not makes you feel rushed even though she was busy! She was very helpful and helped us feel like a patient shouldHer secretary was a nice helpful person as well

Doctor Amin is brilliant and amazing. Out of 4 kids she's already dealt with 2 of them and soon to be a third. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions. She took her time to explain things to us and our son's. She is also an excellent surgeon and come surgery day she goes above and beyond. If she is not able or comfortable to do a certain surgery she won't and will send you to someone who can, which I think is absolutely amazing. I have been dealing with doctor Amin for over 8 years now and would not go to anyone else. I have also dealt with her for myself and she was so caring and reassuring. It can be difficult to get appointments when we want, but the wait is so worth it. She is a very busy specialist. In regard to answering the phones because she does work in the hospital and surgeries don't always go as planned this can make it difficult to get a hold of them, but just keep trying throughout the day and you will get a hold of them. As for the receptionists yes they can be rude, but if you can flake it off as nothing then you'll be good.IF YOU'RE HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING A HOLD OF THEM ITS BECAUSE DR. AMIN IS ON MEDICA LEAVE AS LEAST UNTIL JANUARY AND HAS BEEN FOR SOME TIME NOW.

My appt was for 2:45 .... I called in the morning asking to reschedule because of a snow storm and I was told I would have to pay $75 because it was less than 24 hours notice. I almost forgot about the appt because no one called to remind me like everyother professional I have dealt with. So I showed up and saw the nurse after a 15 minute wait and now I have been waiting over an hour since then to see the doctor. What type of compensation do I get for all this missed work? Think they should be giving me $75 because they can't keep the appt they scheduled 4 months ago!If your smart you should go to another doctor. I will be.

I haven't seen her for a few years but unlike the first persons review, i accept that she is a specialist. She did take time to exsplain a great deal to me aswell as my daughters about the surgery and how important drinking after surg. Was..of course they refused and we had a very serious bleed. She called my home and even spoke to my daughter. I was actually shocked at the other persons review. I am waiting to go see her now,,was surprized to see she moved to pelham clinic. It is possible people like the first review, have driven her into a bitchy mode, but think about it people, it isnt easy being a mother and working, much less in this serious of a field.

Just visted Dr. Amin for my tonsils. Receptionist was very rude to the customer before me. As for Dr. Amin, she was well aware of my anxiety before she walked up to me and nearly tried to shove a camera down my nose without any explanation or warning. She simply said I'm gonna look at your throat with this camera". Assuming she was going to stick it down my nose I asked... she needs some sensitivity training."

Dr. Amin is a good doctor, HOWEVER trying to get through to the office is worse than pulling teeth. I called today to reschedule my appointment, the answering hours on Friday is nine to noon. I called at 11 and was not able to get through as I was then put over to a cancelation receptionist. Absalutely rediculious! Very upset at the way they handle things in that office. OR chance the voicemail so patients can know what time to actually call.

If I could give this office -10 stars, I would. I was verbally abused by the receptionists and discriminated on based off of my age. First of all, my appointment was cancelled and they claimed they tried to get a hold of me for weeks as Dr.Amin had a family emergency.Note: They called the wrong contact number and they claimed that they have been contacting that number for 2 weeks now (it was my family doctors number). My doctor would have notified me of any appointment cancellation if this story was accurateA customer called right before I was about to rebook my appointment and she was upset that it will take 3 more months to rebook as it also took her 6 months to get an appointment.The receptionists were laughing and making fun of the customer behind her back, IN FRONT of me (another customer)This is the most unprofessional service I experienced.I drove 30 minutes for a cancelled appointment that I had booked 6 months ago and there were absolutely no sympathy. When I asked when the earliest time to rebook was, she explained it was in 3 months from now. I asked if I can be waitlisted as I will be out of the country in 3 months for a full month. She advised me there was nothing she can do.Now I have been experience severe discomfort (pressure) for over a year to a point where I get severe migraines. Going to a different country while in severe pain is unheard of.There was no solution and they ridiculed me when I asked a question.The one receptionist called me a TWIT and discriminated me for my age.Shortly after, they closed the window, the door and kicked me out. They refused to rebook an appointment (frankly, I would never waste my time to be in that office in my life)I’ve never been so insulted in my life.They are condescending, unprofessional people who represent you Dr. Amin.They should not have a job for this abuse towards a customer.

Dr Amin was fantastic. She was very thorough and answered any and all questions I had. She was very professional, but kind when she needed to be. She is a surgeon and my health was her first concern. I remember waking up from surgery and she was there to talk to me and comfort me. She does her job and does it well.

Dr. Amin is a wonderful doctor. She's very thorough, doesn't rush you out the door, she clearly explains things to you in a way anyone can understand. It also helps that she is absolutely wonderful with children. If you become a patient of Dr. Amin you are in very good hands, she's so kind and with you every step of the way when it's surgery day.As for reception, not so friendly. She was very standoffish, seemed like I annoyed her just by checking in, Mind you I only dealt with one lady, so maybe she has been replaced by now
