Mermaid in Elora has a wide range of one of a kind items. Perfect if you’re looking for that unique door knocker, or knob, or pocket watch. They also have jewelry and house wares. The tea towels are great with funny sayings. Fun to browse the interesting Knick knacks they have in the shop.

Super neat store, huge selection of cast iron decor. Also has several smaller items like soaps, journals, and tiny metal sculptures which are ideal as souvenirs and travel items. The building is also well insulated for being so old--grateful for AC in the summer heat

I can't say enough good things about Colleen and Mermaid in Elora! I live on the west coast and first contacted Colleen when I was searching for an elusive design in a weekly planner and the only store that carried it was Mermaid in Elora. A couple of emails and the purchase was on its way to me and arrived safe and sound a few days later. Our second contact was just recently when Colleen went far and beyond great customer service by adding a covered canvas print to her already placed order with In The Land of Elsewhere. Again, only Mermaid in Elora carries these beautiful prints. So once more a Canada Post package arrived with the treasured print inside -- all thanks to Colleen. I hope to be able to visit the store at some point but it is so nice to know that I can visit virtually and enjoy Mermaid in Elora from afar!

I was delighted in all facets with my experience with Mermaid in Elora. I live on the other side of Canada but loved a clock I found on their website.They honoured a sale they were having and shipped my clock to me.The staff and manager were so kind to explain the different options. Receipts were provided. A 5 star experience all around. Thank you!!!

I like this store because there are so many different jewellery options that are mostly reasonably priced. Even local jewellery is sold here. In the back rooms there are more interesting things such as unique door knobs, Elora souvenirs, clocks, bags, birthday cards and much more unique items. I recently bought really unique earrings that have mountains on them because I love nature.
