I gave the car to them. They had the key. And left car unlock. All my manufacture car part left inside of the car( worth around $3000) plus steering wheel and shift knots got stolen during that night which confirmed by police via camera from Yohan Centre. I called them and ask for any suggestions on this issue ( which I was kinda already know they are not gonna do anything) of course they refuse to pay any responsibility (not even offer a steering wheel). Attitude is bad as well. Not saying whose right whose wrong, just purely sharing what happened to me for you guys, thought it would be helpful for whoever will be future clients to them. Make your own judgement.

John, the owner, recommended the LED head lights for Honda Fit since one and a half year ago, parts and labour charged $200 plus tax. Recently, one of the lights was not working but the owner John was so rude and refused to offer the replacement under warranty. Instead, I was being lectured that it is my mistake of purchasing LED system. He stated that original head lights should be used according to Honda Canada. John did not even recall where did he order the LED light system from the third party that time, due to no data entry stored at the store. Integrity is the most important to be a mechanic other than just price. Enough is enough. I will not return to John for any business. And will not recommend anyone there too.

John (owner) is a thief. He stole my change from my glove box. On top of that, his attitude is garbage. He wanted to change unnecessary parts on my car. Avoid at all cost.

Garbage mechanic, literally. John (owner) is extremely racist and treats non asian customers like trash. Not to mention, he does not know what he is doing and changed unnecessary parts.

Was recommended here from a family friend, but we've since both has terrible experiences.Not skilled or careful enough. Our friend brought in a car for repair, only to have his windshield broken. We went to have our broken side mirror replaced, and they gave us an affordable quote which we were initially happy about. When we went to pick up the car, it turns out that the side mirror was a black version. On our GREY Toyota Sienna! We complained and got it replaced, but will not be returning.

I've been going to John's for a long time and recently switched mechanics cause the same issues kept reoccuring over and over again (all of which we've brought to John to take care of). At first it was just meant to be a second opinion really but they found out that my car's been tampered with. There are certain parts you could argue is just a sloppy job, etc but one part is literally missing and removed. The new mechanic confirmed that this was most likely done by a person. This pretty much garuntees that I will keep having issues and keep coming back to get my car serviced over and over again.Disgusted and disappointed. Literally a money gouge.Would not recommend or trust them ever again.

Been going to John for service ever since he owned the Shell garage on 41st and Granville back in the early 2000's. Great service and always blutnly gave you the straight beans. It's too bad he had to move to Richmond, lots of people in the neighborhood would drop by just to say hi and have a little chat whenever I was there to get my car serviced.It seems like he's been getting a lot of bad reviews as of late but it's hard to believe since these are pepole with only a few reviews under their belts.

Just sharing my mom’s experience as she often comes here. She says one time they went through her car as she has random things in the car (not important) and it was all moved around like someone was looking for something or trying to steal. Don’t come here. Period.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP!!!!They won't take care of your car and won't be responsible for it.I left my car there for tire change and some belts change. They said that gonna take 2 days to get the job done. After 3 days I went to check how's going on and found my car got scratch and they made the key of the wheel lock lost!!!!!They asked me to pay for what they done. They denied that they did and not even said a SORRY. I have all the pics before and after I left my car there. They even threat to sue me. Never seen ppl like them. Really poor service. Really poor Attitude.The shop locates in a narrow back alley where lots of cars drive through every minute. They just leave customer's cars outside in the alley. They damaged my car, OK, no problem. Let's find out how to solve it. But they are liar and don't care of customers. OK, then go to hell.Have a try if you want to waste money and time!!!

AVOID at all costs. I used to go here all the time and refered several of my friends over the years. However there was an incident once where the owner tried to rip off of my friend with a completely unnecessary repair.The owner told my friend that he needed a new alternator + installation /labor when it turned out in the end that all his car needed was a jump start. We were somewhat suspicious so we demanded that the shop give us the old alternator so we could get our deposit back on it ourselves. They begrudgingly agreed after much debate.We verified that the old altornator was working perfectly fine at another mechanic and an alternator shop as well. When we went back and confronted the shop owner, he panicked then quickly claimed ignorance but we asked him is this how I make your money?" in the end
