Lea at ember realty stole my damage deposit and made me waste my money going to these places, I had to file a claim with RTB she tried to rent me a place with no electricity and no plumbing & so much more, my friend is still currently renting with them and they do not fix anything she's had no running water for three weeks and she has children. They do not maintain the propertys they rent out do not rent with ember realty. I've seen these places an they are disgusting mice, cockaroches backed up sewer house wasn't cleaned, 709 Prichard cockaroches , 641 Dufferin has sqautlers who left a ton of used needles, 556 college is advertised as renovated an isn't she's renting it over an abandoned unit which caught fire before. 300 Milton has backed up bathrooms out of order for two months, Lea doesn't care about anyone she will put you in these situations with children.

Been here 1 year with them so far, and must say they get it done. I'll be definitely resigning my lease.i will live with them, for 10+ years if I can. I make 1 phone call about Maintenance, They show up in the same day and fix whatever needs to be fixed. Don't get me started on the kindness, warmth and ability to work together. you can have ur pets and my neighbors are so sweet on all sides. I would definitely recommend you give them a try.

Not sure who's had problems but I'm having great help from lea and found a perfect home for me and my daughter I'd suggest rent from them

Ember Realty is still threatening us with legal action after RTB said to leave immediately. We had to get our own mold testing.They also never fixed our leaking roof, ceiling or laundry after marking them as “repaired” TENS of times. We had to keep making new tickets and have someone come “””fix””” it weekly.Don’t rent from them I’ve actually never seen anything worse. We didn’t even get to the fire hazards! Or AC *we had to fix! They also hide when you visit the office.Saving a life lol

I have had no reason to complain. I just moved in and when i needed something they happily obliged. Things were fixed and i have no negative comments but postive ones.

The take money and rent out units to to some else there rental property are half way to condemnation and they owe my sister alot of money bad company they should be shut down

Do NOT trust this company with your property unless you want them to allow it to go into disrepair. Contracts are not honored by this company, if they allow your property to fall apart (all while they're making money on it) they will just cancel your contract and walk away. Extremely disappointed.

This is the worst place I've ever rented from. I've been without 2 running toilets since September 22nd. They are hard to contact. Very unprofessional. They give you bad references if you try to move out of there places. Threaten you to take you're reviews off of the website. The worst experience I've ever had renting a place. 300 milton street is up for rent and the toilets aren't even fixed . I had to wait for over a month for my washer to be replaced . Very unprofessional I would not recommend. I was also without heat for 5 days with my 5 children

Hired Ember Realty to manage a few of my properties and will share my awful experience to discourage others from making my same mistake:At first I noticed some small issues with Ember's bookkeeping and leases being done incorrectly. I'm a hands-on owner so I was able to catch these things pretty quickly, so no problem I thought.However, during an inspection shortly after I was shocked to find several of the units in bad condition (tenants Ember had put there), and other units where tenants said Ember had ignored requests for repairs for months on end.The worst example was a suite that had sewage backing up slowly over several months, causing extensive black mold to grow (see photos).It is EXTREMELY unsafe to live in these conditions.Worst of all, the tenant told me they had called and emailed Ember repeatedly and were ignored each time.I immediately fired Ember Realty and moved the tenants out of these unsafe living conditions.Then, I filed an insurance claim to cover the $35,000 of damages and restoration work.This could have all been prevented had they answered the tenants and done a simple drain clearing!Ember refused to take any accountability for their actions with this situation and in other situations that came up.Avoid this company at all costs.
