I agree with many others that the super Ian is extremely disrespectful and rude. I am shocked at how many positive reviews there are however I would not be surprised if he treats some people better than others. Before we moved in we asked if there were any known cockroach issues, he told us no which was a lie. I also read CEPM's response to Bill Reynolds and I am not surprised that Ian act's the way he does, clearly he faces no repercussions from upper management. I am strongly considering all legal options and anyone who experienced similar issues is welcome to contact me to join in. This kind of treatment of tenants is not acceptable, a home should be a sanctuary and here it is not. Me and my girlfriend pay our rent, keep a clean apartment and have never had a single complaint however he treats me extremely poorly, yelling and barking orders, we look forward to the day we leave this place and we will definitely be warning others.

These are the conditions they are comfortable leaving their tenants with. They do the bare minimum so people leave their units so they can improve" and raise the rent by almost $1000. I have been to the landlord and tenant board

Yikes! Did I actually see a revised review of someone who wrote that Steven actually went to their apartment to make amends in order to have the review reversed in their favour? That is extreme. As many other people mentioned, this company operates using blackmail as their main weapon. I had a few friends call instead of me, and they all got different information. So if you don't know what you are going to do, or you are trying to make a decision, have your friends help you with it. Their inconsistencies and bad manners will come through easily.

I can relate to some of the reviews made. I myself battled with false allegations of arrears, an N4 and L1 issued within weeks apart was not consisted and it presented inaccurate dates and numbers of arrears and payments made. Their legal representative informed me with misleading information and persuading me not to attend the Review meeting I had requested at the LTB, tempering with a ledger and claiming unpaid rent ordering the Sheriff to evict me. CEMP held last months rent and a credit in my account. The last review at the LTB finally I got to present the N4 along with other documents for the new management company to withdraw within 5 minutes of the hearing meeting. I recommend for every tenant to keep records of payments and shared information between the landlord and themselves on file. Do not trust anyone. The emotional and mental stress I had experienced for the past 2 years was due to CEMP unethical actions against me. The unjust treatment was unacceptable as I paid my arrears and plus.I hope I help someone that is in need, check all records and keep everything on file, have conversations recorded and documented as well.Protect yourself.

UPDATE: After being alert to the situation reported below Gabriela, the responsible for status certificates, promptly sent me a message to clarify the confusion and help me resolve the issue. She was extremely professional and kind during our call. I was explained the issue presented below was due to a junior staff not being well informed and that this will be taken care of.I'll leave the below for history purposes and to reiterate that my concern/issue was swiftly resolved by them, and to thank Gabriela for all the help.---Staff is not knowledgeable of own regulations. Called to ask the timeline to obtain a status certificate, was repeatedly informed one timeline on rush orders. After I've pay for the rushed order the timeline magically changed to a later date. Employee does not recognize the failure on their end shifting the blame on me, when all I did was ask them to uphold what I was informed by them. The cherry on top of it was the employee simply hanging up on me while I was talking.

I have to declare first that this rating is not intended for Central Erin Property Management since we are not the tenant of CEPM. The review here is for Frank Carone, the property manager that currently works for CEPM. We have been malicious treated by Mr. Frank Carone while he was property manager at Wilstar Management LTD. He is very rude and totally unprofessional. The tenants are Asian seniors couple over age of 80. He often ignored our maintenance repair request. After waiting for more than 6 moths, we ended with no choice but to contact City Building Department for inspection. After Mr. Carone was warned and ordered by the City for the repair work, he filed frivolous Eviction Application with Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board to evict us base on the false allegation of rent arrears. Even with the solid evidence to prove that we didn't owe any rent, Wilstar Management refused to drop their frivolous eviction application. They knew they can bully the senior Asian tenants because their lack of financial resource to hire a lawyer and couldn't fight themselves due to language barrier. We had to go go through the hassle dealing with the corrupted LTB judicator which has close relationship with the paralegal who Wilstar Management hired. At the end, although we have spared from the eviction, the LTB Order issued by the cornuted LTB board did Mr. Frank Carone & Wilstar Management great favor. They walked away from their misconduct and malicious actions with no consequence, no penalty.Mr. Frank Carone is fired by Wilstar and working for CEPM now. I would warn potential CEPM tenants of the possible mistreatment from Frank Carone. Make your informed decision before you fall into another victim of this nasty person.BTW, we have filed application with Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario against Frank Carone & Wilstar Management. Anyone had suffered similar situation like us is urged to contact me at jimc1.usa at gmail dot com

Kudos to an exceptional customer service!!I’ve faced a leakage last week in my guest bedroom and immediately reported to 24/7 number, rep confirmed that they will resolve it ASAP and assured to get back to me. I received a call from property manager and she was at my place with the team to investigate shortly and took extra mile to visit upper level where the water had infiltrated. Next two days my wall was clean as yesterday, entire paint work was back to original by the professional. Thank you Malou Herbuela Property Manager Central Erin Property Management and to the team.. highly appreciated and keep up the good work...

I had the misfortune of dealing with Senior Property Manager, Frank Carone, when he was at Wilstar Management..He is one of the rudest and nastiest people I have ever dealt with in my life. He loves to control tenants through threat of eviction ! I will now avoid Central Erin managed properties at all cost ! BTW, Wilstar tenants are much happier now that, Frank Carone, is gone! I heard that he was actually fired ! Looks good on you, Frank !
