The Mystic Garden

As soon as you walk through the door, you can practically feel the negative energy melting away from you. Honestly, if I could find the time to visit everyday, I would. The staff have always been friendly, approachable, and very helpful!

Entering this wickedly charming shop is like going on a little dark-fantasy-fueled adventure. The walls are lined with exotic incense sticks and candles dot the shelves. Soaps, bath mixes and dried herbs are laid out like eye candy. Necklaces and wind chimes that hang from hooks glisten and tinkle as you walk by. Books and tarot card decks sporting all kinds of marvellous colours greet you from enormous shelves. Taking in the sights and smells of this place is like entering a delightful daydream. This little Wicca-inspired gift shop is a must-visit for every trip to Thunder Bay!

Moved out of Thunder Bay a few years ago and I have to say The Mystic Garden is the best metaphysical shop in Ontario! Every time I visit I look forward to going there. Today the staff working there (Sue and Kim) were so helpful and lovely. My experience was amazing and I am always impressed with all the unique treasures inside the store.

I want to start off by saying this is a wonderful shop and is very unique, but i advise to be very careful when you go into there when you step in you can feel the atmosphere change. I went there the other day with my step-mother and whilst we were looking at the various items we heard something fall behind us and there was a heavy candle that had been knocked off the shelf, there was nobody in that area and there is absolutely no way that candle could’ve slid off. There are spirits in that shop that will potentially follow you home, usually every time we go something seems to follow us back, but never the less we do love the shop and its spooky vibes 9/10 would go again, just be please be careful. personally i believe that place acts as a gateway or maybe a portal i know its sounds a bit strange but it is there.

Not only is this place beautiful, but it has so many items in a wide variety, that even if just for decoration, you can find something here!Also my girlfriend blew my mind when she mentioned that cooking is just another form of magic, while we looked at the wide array of spices.

I used to love going to this store until my younger sister had told me she was being followed. Let me state she is visibly native and so was her friend she was with. They had made a review on here about their experience and let me tell you, what you had said was completely out of context! THEY WERE BEING FOLLOWED BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE. Why follow of group of young native women and ignore the other customers? As much as they didn’t wanna believe it they felt uncomfortable so thank you for going with the stereotype of native people stealing. I will not return to this store and I will keep telling people about it!

There is so much to look at, and so many questions. I didn't nearly have enough time. I will definitely be going back soon.

Although a bit pricey, so very worth it for the beautiful selection and exclusive and special things you find in this lovely shop. My all time favourite place to browse and buy esoteric and mystical items.
