Not A Waffle
We love this shop! Every visit to Winnipeg, my girls beg to visit. Do yourself a favour and read their menu ahead of time as there are so many options. The Matcha ice cream is excellent. My daughter tried the vegan Sakura ice cream in a waffle and it was subtle, sweet, and really, really good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The portions are huge. Each order is a work of art.so be patient while they build it.

Not A Waffle
I remember going to the location just off of portage several years and got their macchi soft serve with the takoyaki. Was quite unimpressed but I thought I’d give them another try and I was pleasantly surprised.I got their black sesame takoyaki ice cream. The takoyaki was tasty, soft in the inside and a little crispy on the outside. The black sesame ice cream was think, creamy and full of delicious flavour. The portion is slightly too big for a small treat for me but it was a good size to share with my girlfriend.I’ll definitely be coming back to try out the rest of the menu and I’ll update my review when I do!

Not A Waffle
Not a waffle is a dessert shop with a lot of fun and delicious options to choose from. Everything is tasty and beautiful to look at, you'll just want to picture everything! We tried the taiyaki with matcha ice cream and it was really good! We also tried the bubble waffle with ice cream and it was super nicely decorated. I like that they change the way they decorate their desserts so each time you go there is something new. When I went I got the spring decoration with chocolate eggs and carrots which was really cute.The bubble teas are perfectly sweet and tasty too. The shop is cozy and has a cool wall paper and the staff is friendly. I totally recommend this place!

Super fun place for something different and fun. Would recommend their special toppings and ice cream. Didn’t love the flavors of the cookies and cream but my 7 year old did. Loved the toppings so fun. We loved looking at peoples ice cream while inside

Love the mocha ice cream and the staff is so nice, she gave us 2 small cups of ice cream to try so I can pick which one I like. The topping are so cute to take pictures. Fully recommend them!

Not A Waffle
Delicious and creative way to serve ice cream. I really enjoyed the mango one. The pistachio is ok too. The caramel waffle i very yummy as well.Things I didn’t like however is still require masks and proof of vax to dine in. Quite a few ice creams are out if stock last time I visited. As well the process is quite long (while ice cream gets ready).

Not A Waffle
I was so impressed with this place and just the feeling that it's not just another chain... but an authentic and high quality dessert experience. Loved the bubble tea and bonus fruit at the bottom of the passionfruit smoothie!! I can't wait to return and try more of their offerings, would be a great place to visit with out-of-town guests as well.
