Knowledgeable, helpful and honest. The guys at Southgate took good care of me after the radiator on my Japanese import car split open this winter.They made me an appointment just one week out, and gave me a labor estimate that was in line with other shops I had called (which were booked up for weeks).Less than 1 hour after I dropped off my car they had my radiator removed and they were able to source a domestic radiator that would fit. My car was kept safe in the shop overnight waiting for the part to arrive. The next day the new radiator was installed with care and precision. They re-used my old coolant to keep the cost down as per my request. The mechanic even tightened up my fan belt and fixed a vacuum line that had been leaking, and did it all within the 2.5 hours that they originally estimated.Competitive hourly rate, fast, efficient and friendly. Now my car is ready for summer road trips with all 3 issues resolved thanks to Southgate. Thanks guys!!

The best mechanics in town. These guys are honest, hard working, and knowledgeable. We have brought both vehicles in and they educated us about the car and how to not damage them in the future. Something as little as having a bunch of heavy key chains on my car key can eventually cause a problem. They could have handed my keys back without saying anything knowing I was ruining my ignition but they didn't. They care about their customers. As a woman with zero car knowledge, it's hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust. Allow me to save you the time, just book at Southgate and you won't regret it. :)

Matt truly knows his stuff in all things refrigeration and ac! We came to Southgate with a very challenging issue on our motorhome, several other shops had tried to resolve but turned us away, and we left with it fully repaired! He and Cal were super professional and efficient. Price was reasonable. We couldn’t be happier and will refer this shop again and again.

I was referred to Southgate Radiator by a reputable mechanic for a radiator repair (rock puncture). Was charged $241.00 for a SIMPLE repair. Rad was already out of the vehicle and brought to them. Photos of the repair job". A "glue job" to fix a small hole? Ridiculous charge for this fix!Shameful and will never refer anyone to this business. Photos attached."

Brought my dads truck here for A/C which they took care of quite quickly, during that time I did not know they did general automotive repair. Their work was very competent so I hade them take care of some other issues I had with brakes, steering and some fuel injection. The work was done meticulously on time and very fair pricing. No funny business just straight old fashion knowledge, workmanship and honesty. Talk to Kal you won’t be disappointed.

This is a honest and hard working business. Mechanics are excellent. Prices are fair. We go here often and our vehicles are always fixed properly the first time !

They got me in within a few days when all the other available shops were booked for weeks. Diagnosed the issues with my 1978 Dodge in a timely manner. Gave me excellent advise on how I should procede and charged me a fair price for the work they did! They were friendly and knowledgable with a pre-computer vehicle which is a hard commodity to come by these days.
