Orcas Bikes

E-Biking is such a fun way to see Orcas Island. This company has solid tours and easy rentals. They rent out mopeds too! I had a fun time cruising around on these bikes.

Awesome place to rent e-bikes the bicycle them self were great On the other hand Grady was extremely awesome if I’m going back it’s because of him, extremely friendly and flexible gave us some solid advices on where to go. Dealing with Grady feels like I’m dealing with a friend I knew since for ever :) Kudos for the great work!!!We went on an independent trip to forage for some mushrooms we found some poisonous one, magic mushrooms and some oyster mushrooms (the oysters were extremely delicious) it was fun and most of our 5 hours trip was uphill/walking and those ebikes saved our lives!! As +220 pounds human when an ebike takes you uphill at decent speed without helping it much and you arrive at the top with full battery… you know it’s good.Great stuff, keep up the great work

What a fantastic experience! My family (ages 30-70, mixed athleticism) rented e-bikes for a week on the islands, and we so appreciated Grady and Ellen’s help getting us set up. They were great from start to finish with all the arrangements, and we had a blast. I highly recommend renting bikes from them, and personally I’d recommend e-bikes unless you want really vigorous exercise and lots of hill climbing - the islands are hilly, Orcas especially so. Thank you, Orcas Bikes, we hope we’ll be back!

Orcas Bikes has always been a favorite of mine while visiting the island. They are easy to work with, give you the safest and beginner friendly equipment and a guide! If you’re a ever on Orcas they are worth checking out, never hurts to meet a new friendly face as well!

Really not a positive experience. It’s not uncommon for eBike rentals to be cheap Chinese bikes, but these bikes were in terrible condition.Bald tires, frayed cables. The rear brake didn’t work at all on one bike. Both derailleurs were out of alignment and I had to take time out of our day to try to re-index them so they would shift. The bikes were picked up with less than a full charge so we had to cut our first days ride short.What’s worse is the shop couldn’t give us any advice on where to ride other than we were strictly forbidden from visiting the observation tower, which was one of the main attractions on the island. Instead we were given dire safety warnings about all the places we shouldn’t go (which, I suppose, were accurate because the bikes are so poorly maintained .)If I had to do it again, I would 100% go to Wildlife Cycles two doors down as it’s an actual bicycle shop.Edit: me and my wife were there on June 13th and 14th. We went into the other shop by accident before getting to your shop where we met your little dog but the defensive/dismissive attitude is consistent with our experience. Downgrading the review from 2 to 1 star based on your response.

This company stole from me, including all of my tools and toolbox, valued at $10,000. If you rent equipment here, it is almost certainly being repaired using stolen property.If you want honesty, integrity, and safety; look elsewhere.Wildlife Cycles is just down the road. They do all the same things, better.

SO much fun! I had never ridden an e-bike before, but it was so cool! I truly want to get my own after trying it out. It was all the fun of biking but the extra help from the pedal assist made the big hills much more manageable. I still felt like I got some exercise. We rented two for a half day and went over to West Beach Resort for ice cream and drinks and promptly cancelled that all out! Meeting the friendly office dog was also a big bonus!

A group of us rented the electric bike with Orcas Bikes. We had a great experience with this place. The service was excellent. Very friendly, helpful and the bikes are in good condition. The price seems pretty decent. Highly recommended this place.

Our family of five decided to rent mopeds and explore the island. What a cool experience. Bo set us all up with appropriate size mopeds, gave us a tutorial on operation, and off we went. Overall we travelled 70+ miles and enjoyed the variety of scenery. We circled large parts of the island and appreciated riding along the water, through beautiful pastoral settings, tall groves of trees, etc. There are plenty of places to stop to eat or explore. We would definitely recommend the mopeds as a fun way to explore Orcas!

Such a great experience spending the day riding the mopeds! This was honestly such a cool way to see the island, and without the hassle of biking. Would highly recommend if you have a spare day to tootle around and explore.
