Chungchun Rice Hot Dog Regina

Came here with a friend from out of town. Got three different dogs.Gamsung (beef & chicken sausage) potato with cheddar cheese seasoningWhole Mozzarella with ramen chips toppingChangchun original (beef sausage) with honey mustard saucePineapple Ade drinksTo order and to get our food was a bit of a wait (just slow moving as others before us had a hard time ordering multiple dogs, when it was our turn to order it was hard to place ours as they questioned each dog we were ordering) but happy to have gotten there before the actual supper rush happened.The alarm for the timer was a bit loud for the space it is in as it when off quite a few times while we sat there and ate. The environment of the place is like any fast food joint. Loud and ok to be in for a short period of time to eat and then leave. The tables were not very clean as there was only two employees working and trying to make the dogs and take the orders. Let alone trying to wipe down the tables each time someone ate and then left.

It's a Korean corn dog franchise, so the food experience is consistent with other locations I've been to. My wife enjoys the sweet potato one. I enjoy the volcano dog with ramen chip. This location makes them as ordered, so it can slow down quite a bit with a few orders in the queue. Well worth the wait but I recommend ordering ahead.

We had the cheddar cheese (with sweet chili, bbq, cheddar powder), squid ink mozzarella potato topping (with sweet chili, sugar) and poutine (with a side of gravy). Squid ink with mozzarella and sausage combo was BOMB. Mozzarella was perfect. Took a long time to harden and become chewy. Cheddar wasn’t too overbearing. Poutine was ok. Nothing special, just like poutine but with a huge portion of mozzarella. Overall, the hot dogs were delicious! The chili sauce is highly recommend. It’s a meal! It will definitely fill you up.

Different spin on a hot dog. Korean style hotdog with a large selection of flavours. Cheesy, beef, chicken, vegetarian etc... Also a variety of coating to choose from, sweet potato, potato, frosted flakes etc and to top it off, sprinkles such as parmesan, cinnamon, butter garlic. Friendly service and a different experience. Worth a visit for sure.

If you haven't tried Chungchun you need to! Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. A nice twist to your standard corndog you're used to at the fair.

I've been watching Jinny's Kitchen on Prime. One of the foods they sell at the restaurant are Korean hot dogs. I'm really glad I finally got to try one! I loved it! I got the marble cheese hotdog" coated in French fries topped with sweet mayo and their sweet garlic powder. Delicious!"

Got the cheese one and it was amazing! Love how you can get as many sauces and seasonings as you’d like.

Always wanted to try Korean hotdog, i bought the mozzarella cheese hot dog coated with potato. It was freshly made. Customer service is excellent and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely visit again
