Chadwick's & Hack's Fireplace & BBQ

Very friendly service online but look out for delivery fees! All over the website, it says free delivery for purchases over a certain amount and within 100 km. I bought a stove for over $5,000 (way over the minimum) and they tried to charge me $150 to deliver it 62 km away. They refunded the money quickly but still, ?? Also, they sold me a stove and installation kit but neglected to tell me about a crucial piece that should have been ordered with the kit. I had to delay my installation for 3 weeks while the missing piece was sent from the factory. Those very friendly customer service people should maybe know their products a bit better.

I haven't been here in a long while, but I needed to check out Chadwicks again to see if there was anything new for dyson as before I had purchased some accessories at that store. The store has the same outlet type feel, and the service I had received was very overshadowing. For a spacious store and many awesome places to stand and watch me closely. The elderly lady decided to stand by my side and attempt to answer my questions by feeding me meaningless and untrained answers. Regardless, I ended up purchasing something. My advice to that employee is simply never to judge a book by its cover.

Purchased a fantastic Masterbuilt Gravity800 Grill from Chadwick's & Hack's last Spring. Best outdoor cooking appliance I've ever owned, and so versatile (160F to 700F). I ran into an issue with it recently, but with the help of the staff at the store, they got me in touch with the manufacturer. After a few emails they pinpointed the issue and are sending me the parts that will fix my problem. Thanks to C&H for selling great products and providing even better service.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Laura you are the best! I found this company through a google search. Right from my initial contact they have been nothing but amazing. Laura listened to my list of wants" and understood what I was looking for. I have called a few more times with additional questions and she was more than happy to answer them. I am looking forward to receiving my new Bbq in the next few days! I would 100% recommend this company!"

Amazing service from salesman James Powell. I purchased the Weber Master Touch bbq and some accessories. James was knowledgeable and taught me how to use the bbq. I am a first time charcoal griller and James answered all my questions. He was very responsive over email as well. I will definitely continue to use James as my salesman moving forward.

Six years ago when we moved in, our house featured a lovely outdoor kitchen originally purchased at Costco. Over time the main grill became unusable but we still liked the rest of the unit. I spent a year trying to find a replacement and EVERY retailer told me that these Costco units were not designed to be retrofit and I should scrap it. Finally I spoke to Gary and others at Chadwick's and Hack's who assured me the Napoleon built-in grill would fit. The grill arrived about a month earlier than expected and we found a local HVAC installer who fabricated some custom metal parts and made it fit like a glove in an afternoon. Thanks for helping us find a solution!

Wow- what a pleasure to deal with a professional sales staff! Dylan G has an encyclopedic knowledge of all makes and models of BBQ's. He was able to guide me through the many choices leading to exactly the BBQ that I needed. The BBQ was assembled and delivered on time. Everyone I met from Chadwick's & Hacks was polite and friendly.

Took a kitchen aid mixer in for a tune up in early November, and did not get it back until almost Christmas. When I did get it back it made a grinding noise the second I turned it on. It was not making that noise when I took it in initially. Never used it again. Called the store right away ( December 19th ) to tell them, and also I would not be bringing it back until sometime in January as I live over an hour away, but wanted the issue documented.When I took it back in mid January, they had no record of call to advise of the grinding noise. The employee didn’t seem to believe me until I pulled up the date on my phone. She then said she wasn’t surprised there was no record of the call.I called to follow up on February 21st and again March 2nd to ask if it was repaired. In a very snotty voice I was told if it was ready I would have been called.It is now March 24th, and I still nothing. When I called AGAIN today, they did not know the status at all due to some updating of their software.I told her I would be picking it up Tuesday, and I didn’t want anyone touching it. 2 months for a repair is absolutely ridiculous.Would never recommend them!!!Update as of March 28th. Did speak to manager as requested by the owner. Was told the tech of 8 years could not find the problem. At the time of my call, I was told the tech was waiting for a call from KitchenAid for help in repairing the mixer. He was very apologetic for all the issues. I told him not to do anything else, and I would be in to pick it up.I wonder how long it would be had I not called !Will not return.

The BBQ experts. Between the great prices, huge selection and knowledgeable staff. I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a barbecue or accessories. They even have a great sauce and bbq rub selection.

Our first visit to this location. Our salesperson James was personable and very knowledgeable about the bbq's in-store. We were comfortable going outside of our budget once James shared his product knowledge!!! Highly recommended this place!!
