The UPS Store

My wife used to bring her business here all the time. Today she was sending an item for me with a prepaid shipping label- the man providing service decided they wanted to complain to her about how they don't appreciate helping her because they aren't making any money off the current transaction (however not so politely). Terrible customer service- clearly not about making the customer happy - everyone is simply a transaction and they clearly don't mind making anyone's experience a poor one.And the reply from UPS seems as though you are trying to justify being rude. The customer service should be there to help and avoid making any experience an unpleasant one. Try to convince me that being rude in that circumstance was justified.

The staff and the manager was super friendly and very understanding. I had 2 incidence that I tried to mail the important document to China. I tried Canada Post first. even though the staff in the post office are very nice and polite but not only they have so many restrictions and they can not guarantee the delivery time and they are way more expensive and they have operation down time from time to time. also if I sent as priority mail if they are unable to deliver to the person I will get forced to charge the return shipping which close to $100.00 but when I went into the UPS store, they were polite and answer all my question and concerned and they gave me an educated suggestion not only I have my important document delivered on time and earlier than the priority shipping in Canada post but also It is cheaper. I understand that for some people, this operation time is not very convenient. But in my case, today I arrived the office 3 minutes after they closed down the shop , the manager still came to the door greeted me. I was totally prepared that I will have to come back the next day but he welcomed me into the store after he heard what I want to do and still take his time to answer all my questions like the normal business hours. and their price still cheaper than Canada post. I am sooooo grateful and impressed for their caring nature and I felt I have to tell everyone about it! I will for sure recommend everyone I know in town. if you have important document need to sent overseas and you want to get it to the destination fast and secure, this store is your best choice !

Had an Amazon return and the lady at the front desk was very helpful, wasn’t very busy just before closing, but great service nonetheless

I had to drop off a parcel to be shipped. It turned out that there was an issue with the paperwork and the manager was so helpful! I don't know if I'll have a need to use these guys again, but I wouldn't hesitate! They were great!

The new owners tried to charge me for picking up my own package! What? that’s right……..the company I ordered from has free shipping so I usually get my orders delivered to my house for free. I pick up my orders from the UPS store when I am not going to be at home. The UPS store on Main Street in Airdrie Alberta (I need you guys to know this is just the store on Main Street not anywhere else) wanted more money from me when I went to collect my package!!! I’m not sure what to call this kind of illegal behaviour…..well I do but I don’t want to be sued for slander so just the facts here folks!!!

Horrible company. They lie and do not accept responsibility. They left notices on my door as they tried to deliver a package but the package was returned well before the deadline and marked as refused." Friday was the first notice

It is said that the extra mile is a lonely place because not a lot of people bother to travel it. Not the case for this place and the Manager (GD). I brought a large set of blue prints that I had already failed to print at 2 other places under an ugly deadline and GD said he could get it done even though the store was obviously very busy and closing was at 6:30 (this was at 1:30) and the special printer was going slow due to an unknown issue. When I inquired he said i will get it done". Store was closed now for over an hour and there in the window is GD hammering out my plans. Deadline met

Really good service. I phoned them concerned about a package and they informed me I had no parcel and that the text message was probably a scam.

Extremely hot in the store: was very uncomfortable, and the only girl who works the desk could really use extra help. Shipping costs are awful, but it's not their fault.

I have no idea why this place only has a 3 star rating. I've been dealing with the most ridiculous package situation ever and one of the gentlemen who works here is bending over backwards to help me with it. Not only did he remember me and my name/the package I was sending, but when it turned out that I was given the wrong address and had to change it (mid-shipment), he was helpful with that, and then when for whatever reason the address wasn't changed on the American side, he made sure to follow up with them and see what was going on without me having to come down or repeat any of the information I had already given. They're really proactive and helpful at this location and I'll 100% be using them again. Stellar, above and beyond helpful employees.
