Canadian Tire Gas+

Arrived to get propane pulling up to the filling station which was open. Walked into pay and was told they were closed. I said it was still open as I am parked there. I was told it was closed as of 7:00. I walked out and saw they had locked it up while I went into pay. Dirty approach when a customer leaves their vehicle to pay, to lock things up. This is not customer service!

November 2021 Heads up to check your credit card transactions after using this location. Multiple fraudulent charges made online to Canadiantire.ca after using my credit card at the Waterdown location. Manager returned my call from a Moose Jaw Sask. cell number and told me he spoke to the owner and will look into it.

Propane refills available 3 days a week. The attendants were pleasant and helpful, even directing traffic so I could back my trailer up. I recommend larger RV/trailers park in the Canadian Tire lot and carry their tanks over as it's quite tight to get to the refill station.

Refilling Propane seems to be too much for them to bother with. 2nd time I've been there and received the oh not today answer.

Since we live in the area, came to this Canadian Tire gas station with my mom (over 87) this afternoon (Aug 2) to check her last few purchsed lottery tickets and to purchase a few more as well. When we approaced the cashier and asked him to check the tickets if were any lucky winning tickets he told me to go to the lottery stand to check for ourselves (maybe their machine at the cashier was broken) I then decided to purchase quick pick for Mom, and so we didn't have to come back to the cashier again. However a lady on the next line asked the same question and that cashier of the next line checked hers. As such I asked cashier again and because I saw all what happened this time he decides to check them giving me an attitude. After everything was completed. I asked him why he sent us the other way to check for ourselves which he could have check, which he could not answer,. As such I asked him if he was discriminating me. And he said no. His Supervisor over heard that and came over. Asking me to leave rather, not even apologetic at all. We were leaving anyways. And that's the kind of service I got here. Will never come here again and wish you all GOOD LUCK too!!!

Even during propane filling times, dont expect to get your tank filled. Woman at the cash told me it was broken even though the unit was wide open and ready to use.Pretty sure she was working on her own and there just wasn't a 2nd person available to come out and fill.Close the unit door and put a sign up so that customers know and don't walk all the way into the store. But really, just always have someone there to fill tanks. According to the sign, the propane filling was supposed to be open for 2 more hours.

On Aug. 10th 2021 I called this location to ask when propane filling for barbeque tanks was available. The very helpful and polite young lady, who answered the 'phone, provided the times they were open for propane. I arrived well ahead of closing time and was greeted by an attendant before I had walked four steps away from my vehicle. He explained the filling procedure. As I walked towards the store to pay for the refills the attendant called me back. He advised me that both tanks were expired" and that he couldn't refill them. Then he took the time and made the effort to SHOW me and EXPLAIN the date coding on the tanks. He followed up by offering me a solution to my "expired tank problem". I went into the store and my purchases were efficiently processed by a very congenial and helpful young lady. I can't speak to the other postings regarding propane tank refills

Just a notice to anyone looking g for a propane fill. They say they don't do it anymore. Just exchanges. I have a feeling they just won't do it because it's extra work and only one employee. Disappointing
