F Stop Foto and Frame

I've watched them transition over the years from a traditional camera store" to a full-service photo service dealer. They carry a vast selection of pre-made frames (see photo) and also custom framing/matting

A great place to get your artwork framed and to buy artwork. Any framing I have had to do has turned out stellar using both Michael and Linda’s recommendations. I have also had posters put on canvas and framed. Also for photographs I had a picture of my son running at OFSAA in the snow and they blew it up as much as possible. Turned out great. As far as photography equipment goes they have a decent assortment and can order anything in. What they have in store is enough for any aspiring photographer. It is great to have a store like this in Orangeville with a great owner and staff like Linda. Also Linda is an artist herself who I have bought a painting from. Gave it to my sister and she loved it. We are lucky to have a store this dynamic and attentive to their customers.

This store has a great selection of products and I love the convenience of printing my photos out, but dealing with some (NOT all) of the staff is difficult. I've been in the store several times and it's always the same If it wasn't for the rude staff I would have rated this a 5*

These folks helped me with a funeral portrait, the experience was exactly what I needed at the time - quick, efficient and cordial. Emma was super helpful on that first visit and I was back a couple of weeks later to get more photos framed. We will be having more family photos printed and framed here.

I love supporting local and independent businesses. I'm disappointed to be writing a 1 star review instead of a 5 star review. The quality of prints and special orders is excellent. Customer service seriously needs to be improved. I have spent hundreds of dollars at F Stop and I am considering never going there again. This disappoints me because I don't want to support the big box stores like Walmart and Costco. However, a customer should not be treated with abruptness or rudeness. The store was not busy when I went to pick up my order of prints. I guess you are only treated with kindness or respect when you are picking up a special order. I would know because I have picked up orders under $10 and orders over $100. I would appreciate a response and perhaps my family and I will continue to support your business.

I got an old photo of my grandparents (likely from the 70's) scanned and re-printed at a smaller scale. After some restoration, I couldn't believe the quality. It was amazing. They matched it to a frame that worked with the restored colors and the final product was way more than I expected.F-Stop does great work and while they are more expensive in some cases than big box stores, the difference in quality and great service is well worth it. Thank you so much for the great work and I look forward to getting more work done in the future.

Thank you so very much Eden for your kind patience while navigating two difference sources of photos for a special project I had in mind, and all this with a bit of a timeline pressing on us. I think it is a shame that a store that does offer excellent advise when choosing matting and framing, has a wide frame choice to suit most pockets and prints really good quality photos, falls down on the way some staff members speak to customers. I have shopped here quite often and spent a good amount of money and I have no criticism with the product or advice, but I do think it could be more friendly. If you go into a store often it's nice to have some recognition factor, just a smile would do. It's the small things that are so easily done, that make a shopping experience great instead of just ok. These small things make you want to return. It is foolish to loose clients by being stoney faced and officious, and it could be remedied so easily.

This is a review for the amazing person named Emma who works here! I had some old photos rolls I had to develop and they were so old and have started deteriorating. Emma took the time to make them better and she honestly did such a wonderful job. It is so kind of her to do this and take time out of her day. She completely went above and beyond and gave me the gift of memories from my childhood that I can share with my baby. Which means so very much to me. I am truly grateful and I want to say a million thanks. There are definitely kind hearted people in this world and she is certainly one of them. Thanks Emma! You rock!
