Great people and not a bad place to stay! A bit dated but for the price it was good!

Stayed here February 23rd after they shut down the Trans Canada; arrived here unannounced without a reservation. The hotel couple doors down sent us here as they were full. So we were very happy to get a room - front staff were very helpful and friendly, very accommodating. And the place was a very pleasant surprise; very clean, everything we needed and much cleaner than a well known hotel name we stayed in the night before. And the Covid friendly breakfast was just dandy; good coffee too.Thank you; your hospitality was very much appreciated on such short notice.

From the time you enter from the parking lot, you are greeted by a friendly staff at the front desk which makes the stay more enjoyable.There is a ATM, ice machine and snack and beverage machine near the front desk.The room was very comfortable and laid out and not expensive. I enjoyed the room with the food products and with the tv and fireplace even though it wasnt on, it felt like home.The free grab and go breakfast was awesome. I took the coffee, muffin and prepared eggs a great thing when you are on a tight travel schedule.All amenities are close by which reduces travelers time looking for things needed.On my return trip back to Ontario, I will be staying there again.Highly recommend staying here and calling it your home away from home.

I recently stayed here while on a business trip and found the room to be clean, tidy and quiet. The staff was friendly, curteous and helpful when needed. There are couple of restaurants close by as well. If you need a place to stay in Virden, the Jays Inn would be good choice.

What a great place to stay. There were only a few other guests in the hotel, but even though we were next door, I never heard a peep. Not near enough to the highway to hear traffic. Great amenities, friendly staff, adequate breakfast, it's great just by not having anything wrong with it.

Beds were pretty comfy and the heat lamp in the bathroom was a nice touch. Price was fair and the breakfast was decent.. ill stay there again..

Just checked in. Lady at the front desk was super sweet. The room is neat and very clean. This property is a bit older but exceptionally well maintained. I’m sure the temptation to let it fall into disrepair was real, especially during covid. The owners of this little hotel kept it up very well the last couple years. Great job.

Great service, clean rooms and a decent breakfast selection. Subway, a&w and tim hortans all within walking distance.Walking distance from safety source in virden if there to take courses.

Pulled in in the morning due to Trans Canada Highway being closed both ways. The lady at the counter was amazing. She helped us out with a room. She was kind, considerate and even managed to squeeze us in for breakfast. What incredible service and compassion. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Rooms very clean and very comfortable . Wonderful staff at the front desk as well housekeeping and maintenance! All very friendly and helpful. Great TV as more channels then we could keep track of. I would love to stay here again. Our 2 nights here were wonderful. Thank u to all that helped make us feel so welcome!
