Extremely incompetent! My solar system stopped producing energy in the middle of August. No one answers the phone and emails are not responded to for days at Brightworks Energy. After 2 months of trying to find out what the problem was and when it would be fixed I finally called Solaredge myself to figure out what's going on. Solaredge told me that the case number Adam Nutson from Brightworks provided me was an incorrect case number for another property from 2019. Solaredge also told me that they shipped a new inverter out for my system on September 30th (Today is October 21st). In response to Brightworks incompetence, I have acquired a new installer and I highly recommend staying away from this company!

We needed an off-grid solar set-up that was reliable and hassle-free for our remote field camp in the Western Arctic, and Brightworks Solar was able to provide exactly what we were looking for. I began the MicroFIT application in February and upon receiving the go-ahead in March I reached out to five Solar companies for proposals. Brightworks Solar responded with the most attractive proposal in terms of price, schedule, features & benefits, and guarantee. I am an Engineer and had very specific requirements for the type of hardware used and its particular installation as to minimize EMF radiation, maximize electricity generation, and have backup power when the grid goes down. The owner was very patient and responsive as we worked the details of my custom solution together (their first). The installation team was very professional and friendly too, however, despite the established understanding with the owner, my involvement with the onsite project management was somewhat greater than expected (eg. specific roof work and cable runs, communication with LDC, and inverter software commissioning). Fortunately the speed and quality of the owner’s communication and steps to address my concerns was top notch, and with a slight delay of three weeks the project was successfully deployed. It is setup to perform well and autonomously for years being protected from squirrels and raccoons with a critter guard, earning good income to offset utility bills, and if need be, capable of providing up to 2000W of free power straight from the panels. Overall I highly recommend Brightworks Solar to anyone considering a Solar project. Well done!

The experience with Brightworks solar was great. I had a great feeling about the employees from the start, out of three companies Brightworks had the best follow up. Brightworks was much more approachable and competent than any other company I tried to deal with. Brightworks Solar was very professional from the beginning, their installer was very helpful in explaining everything about the system and helping me understand how it works. The fact they were willing to install the system during the two coldest weeks of the year was incredible. The post installation support has been great as they continue to help me understand my system and how it works. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with Brightworks Solar.

I would like to say thanks to the team at Brightworks for a successful MicroFIT installation. I wasn't aware how complicated the process of working with the IESO was, but they worked through it and we got the paperwork accepted. The installation was fairly quick and painless, took a bit of back and forth but overall I am happy with the service and installation. I had one warranty item that Brightworks took care of, they were quick to respond and resolve. Thanks

Great recovery work when PV project appear to be a no go. Bob MacCannell timely interventions into unexpected situations resulted in a well completed project and a very satisfied costumer. No hesitation in recommending his team.
