Mercy Christian Church

Members go out of their way to help. I've seen a woman in a crisis situation who stopped in be given a ride to at Catherine's by a member so that she could be with family. Potluck is also good.

A Church where the Gospel is preached and hospitality is practiced. A warm congregation that shows Jesus' love to East Hamilton.

My husband and I have been so blessed by the gift that this church is to our lives! It is rooted in God’s word, alive with prayer and a welcoming community. So thankful we started attending!

Mercy has been a blessing to me and to my family. First of all, its preaching is faithful to the Word: balanced, no sugar-coating and correcting, yet loving. I found my home here after months of looking for a new church as an immigrant. The members are friendly and accommodating, a kind of community to be in especially for people who need guidance, and encouragement.

This place is like family! I've grown and matured in my Christian walk because of them. Praying for God's blessings and covering to fall upon this church always.

Have always found Mercy Church to be a friendly church, everyone is so caring of each other. Pastor Ian always has a kind word and his teachings are wonderful. We look forward to a long relationship with Mercy Church.

I’ve been attending Mercy Church since it started and I love it! Thankful for Christ centered preaching from the Bible every Sunday and amazing music/singing!Jesus is glorified & lives are being changed!

Have attended Mercy Church since just before Covid and watched it online during Covid. I have met so many great people there and love how the Church helps people in the community. Pastor Ian is one of the friendliest men I have ever met and always has time for a chat. His sermons are point on and you can see the passion he has.

I have attended Mercy church since it started a few years ago. It is a vibrant community, with a heart for the community and for lifting each other up. My children love it there as well. The pastor is passionate and has good messages to build up the church members. He is a man of prayer and often prays with those he meets in the community. When my aunt was ill she had many visits from caring church members.

I have been attending mercy church for awhile now and when I initially reached out to the church to become a member I was going through a difficult time in my life. Pastor Ian called me and welcomed me with open arms and made it very clear that the church just wants to love and support me in anyway they can. For the last 6 months I have made life long connections with the most loving individuals and can confidently say that Mercy is my home. Pastor Ian makes it his mission to deliver a sermon from the heart every week and you can tell in the way he delivers his message that he is passionate about what he does. I have become a better person since joining mercy and can’t wait to see how my new relationship with God unfolds as I continue to attend Mercy.
