Anick Violette

My friends gave me a gift certificate for a Creative session with Anick Violette for my birthday last month. What a wonderful and fun experience this photo shoot was for my family, kids, dogs and all! It's the best place to have your portraits taken! I love the atmosphere of the pure white studio which makes one feel calm and happy. It's unlike anything else I have experienced! Anick is very easy going and made us feel at ease from the get go. The photos were technically excellent and at the same time artistic and so beautiful! There is a softness and purity to them that is flattering to all.Without hesitation, I highly recommend Anick Violette - Photographer to everyone!If you are looking for original, creative and memorable photos which will last you a lifetime, this is the place to go! I connected with Anick through the local Vancouver watersports community. In addition to her background in this space, she is a phenomenal photographer. She spent a couple of days down at my beachside business and as a result turned out over 800+ beautiful photos capturing all aspects of our operations, from the goofy moments to the serious learning times. As a watersports operation, it can be a challenge to get accurate yet visually appealing imagery shot from the water. I really appreciate that Anick was willing to get onto the water with her gear and shoot from that perspective- it really makes a difference to show our activities in situ! Anick’s editing is also lovely. She captures the perfect ‘vibe’ in her final creative touch (admittedly without much direction on branding!). It’s a pleasure to work with Anick as a photographer and I would recommend her wholeheartedly.

Anick took professional headshots of me last year. She was great to work with - offered super direction in terms of posing and angles - and made me feel comfortable and at ease. The aesthetic is timeless and contemporary, and I continually receive compliments on the photos, which definitely captured the look I was going for. She also spent considerable time editing any imperfections that showed up on camera, which I appreciated! Highly recommend.

My experience with Anick was only positive! She captured my children perfectly despite some challenging behaviour moments with my 3 and 7 year olds. By the end my kids were done - and yet you would never know it from her amazing shots! My only problem now is trying to narrow all of the fantastic pictures down to order! I can't wait to work with Anick again through the years.
