Recently moved to Pickering and got a regular pedicure and shellac manicure done. Anna you was the technician who did my nails and she was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the colour I chose and even suggested the accent colour to complement the main colour I chose! Overall terrific experience and I am so gland I found this place .. will be my go to going forward!

I was looking to buy my wife a gift card for her birthday, I was so impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the ladies at the spa that I decided to get a pedicure as well. Anna worked on my feet I wear steel toe boots so she had her work cut out for her with my beat up feet, so I left her a good tip. I was in heaven when I left, my feet felt soft and don’t catch on my bed sheets anymore lol. I will definitely come back with my wife when she gets her fake nails done. I will continue to do my feet at this salon, nice people, friendly and they respect all health guidelines. Best part is they are at entrance2 in front of homesense, easy to find without having to run through the entire mall. Clean, organized, respectful, friendly, polite, everything you would like in a spa. Thanks again !

This was my first time getting my nails done here and I’m absolutely in love with my nails! The lady was very nice and asked me if I liked them and I said yes. I found this this place from my aunt because she gets her nails done here and I’ll definitely be coming back here again. Thank you for such a great experience and if anyone asks me for a good place to get there nails done, I’ll definitely suggest this salon. ☺️

I love coming to this salon to fulfill all of my fun nail design needs! The owner does such an amazing job and is very friendly. I would say I am very particular about my nails but I never have to ask for something to be fixed since they always strive to perfect each nail. I would recommend this salon to friends and family.

Amazing! I recently moved to Pickering and it was a struggle to find a good quality nail salon. After 3 attempts at disappointing, rude salons, I decided Akrilix would be my 4th and final attempt. Everything from calling and booking my appointment, to the warm and friendly staff even the other clients and the application of my shellac was amazing. Went here yesterday with a friend for the first time and looking at the other reviews And pictures from this place I assumed it was a clean and the nail artists knew what they were doing. The two ladies who did our nails were really nice but we both are very disappointed on how our nails came out. The two receptionist didn’t seem interested in there job and came off very rude when greeting us. Plus, one of the receptionists kids were running around and being loud. Not a very professional environment.We received fake nails that are uneven and bumpy, and they seemed to rush the process all together. Also would like to mention that the place was very dirty, doesn’t look like it was cleaned for a while. We saw one of the workers who did decide to “clean” kick skin from a previous pedicure under a chair.AND THE PRICE was ridiculous. They only told us how much it cost once they started the nail process. $70 and $75 for very mediocre nails. Usually nails like these cost $30-$45, especially for what we asked for. They didn’t even prepare the nails properly and aggressively finished a 5 second hand massage. Very disappointed would not go back.(old)This is an update on my last review. We got out nails done on the 25th of this month and not even a week later most of my nails have popped off, and I have a lot of trapped moisture underneath them. I don't want this review and previous to sound rude, this is just super dissaponting. I also want to inform people about mine and my friends experience. I was shocked that they barely lasted a week and for $70 I kind of feel ripped off. Maybe it just was an off day for them? I'm not sure :( . But again just sharing my experience and updating on the state of my nails. I am including a picture of my nails now.

The nail tech I had was amazing. They kept ensuring that I was happy with the length and shape of the set that I got. Took their time filing and buffing my nails; they perfected the set! Even gave me a hand massage after with the hand cream that they used. Overall great experience, highly recommend this place!

My sisters and I love coming here to get our nails done!! Christina and her mom, the owners, are very friendly and welcoming. Jenny, our nail tech, is also so nice and does an amazing job and is always happy (and quick!).. the location is conveniently located and we always love coming back for a new nail design.
