Alberta Sports Hall of Fame

Finally we were able to visit this place! It was only $12 for the boys and I which was great. There was so many things to do and interact with. My kids asked if they could have their B-Day parties here! My boys are aged 4 - 11 and really enjoyed the visit.

Rather disappointing. Many of the interactive displays didn't work. Asked for assistance and although they came to look They couldn't get them going. Very few people there at the time and many stayed at the few working displays for extended times because there wasn't much to move on to. I wouldn't take visitors with children there again. Adults may reading museum displays but not enough to keep kids entertained

One star .. I think because an item from the vending machine on the way out mended the experience just a smidge.We went here last weekend and did not enjoy our experience.. not for lack of great history but for lack of cleanliness and care for the experiences for the kids.Many of the attractions you pay for are out of service or non operational. The hand sanitizer in the “pay before you proceed” area was empty. This is not good for business right after a pandemic. Fingerprints and debris speckled throughout the centre. It’s just got the feel of “ew” and disarray. Outside the premises are some equipment for fitness.. a broken one there to play with too. The vending area had some water .. no cups. Certainly not a place I would recommend field trips for schools.Too bad the money couldn’t be used from patrons to keep this place in good standing and clean.

Really enjoyed our visit here and so glad we stopped on the way back to Edmonton. Lots of interactive activities to do in-between the exhibits. Vice nicely displayed Hall of Fame. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

A really great place, lots of parking, great history of sports in and from Alberta, informative signs accompanied the items inside; interactive games are in here as well, a moving/rotating wall to climb(this one was great unfortunately my video won't upload - but it needs to be tried) great fun with all interactive games. Staff is always willing to assist, accompany and educate with their vast knowledge. I would Highly Recommend a staff accompanied tour as it is great, you find out way more about everything than you do from just the little information signs

I love visiting Red Deer with my family. We always enjoy going to this sports museum. The staff are very welcoming. They are so good in explaining the various sports and other things displayed. It's big and spacious. The items,photos etc are well displayed. There are various games, sports that you can play with your family and friends. It's a fun place to visit. Kids and adults alike will enjoy.

Thank you so much for the great room rental yesterday! Our group of 25 fit in beautifully for our workshop. The staff was not only friendly and helpful, but they had the room set up perfectly for us. The interactive displays offered a fun way for us to easily get to know other! I highly recommend the Ab Sports Hall of Fame as an affordable venue for any event!

I always love coming by here and visiting the horses if their close to the fence. Spend a few min to chill from a longer drive than usual. Nice place .

Had a nice stop in here several years ago while driving by. Fun, informative little museum for a couple of American tourists.
