The architecture is really nice but then someone put all these weird paintings everywhere. Too many paintings if you ask me. I have like 4 paintings but this place has like... Way more than that.

If you're in Whistler and have a couple of hours to spare I recommend you visit. The collections are surprisingly rich in well known artists and the space is large and well laid out. The curators are Clea passionate and knowledgeable. I've visited twice now and found a lot of new exhibits the second time. Background info on the artists and key works help to provide insights on what you're looking at and the variety of artists and mediums means there should be something for all tastes. I also want to mention the building itself which is very striking and modern without looking horribly out of place amongst the trees. Gift shop is small but classy.

Stunning place and excellent art collection. Was great to see a mix of first nations art and then also the local BC artists work. Definitely learned a lot about BC art scene and spent some quality time there.Building Itself is amazing and I would highly recommend this place.

Something nice to do after skiing.Something other than winter sports to do in Whistler.Beautiful museum.Lots of paintings by Emily Carr.There is there permanent collection and sometimes they have a special exhibit.

A small but very interesting art museum showcasing BC's artists.Stunning building featuring striking woodwork leading the eye along the length and height of the building.Only opens Thursday to Sunday, but definitely worth a visit and you can buy a combined pass for the Indigenous Cultural Centre which provides a discount price for each.

Beautiful art museum with a lot of Canadian artists and First Nations art. Definitely worth a visit. Can be echoey so be prepared to quietly take your time.

Really nice little museum with B.C. artists and indigenous art. There was a separate exhibition for skateboarding culture when we were there. Nice shop on premises. The grounds and building were also really nice. $20 for adults and very quiet this time of year, we had the place to ourselves.

Beautiful facility celebrating the indigenous arts and culture for BC. Nice collection, worth the tour for further insight into some of the collections.But if you are into the incredible architecture, then this is a must see. A walk around the outside before venturing indoors is recommended. The galleries are spacious and well designed. Certainly a stunner with the facility alone.
