One of the kindest staff I've ever encountered! To share a glimpse of their customer service, a friend of mine recommended Playful Minds for a specific item I was looking for. I placed an order for curb-side pickup which was prepared so fast that I was able to pick up my order within the same hour. My item unfortunately had a minor defect and the staff was so understanding and had actually set the same item aside for herself, which she so kindly offered to exchange mine for. Absolutely left me speechless over the phone because I genuinely was not expecting such a response! And for such a great first experience, Playful Minds has gained a new loyal customer! Thank you so much.

It's so refreshing to enter a store thats curated and actually has some of the best toys picked out for its customers instead of one of those big box stores. You'd be amazed of what you can find here and be pleasantly surprised by the options. I got this cool trebuchet kit and one big detailed ups truck toy for my nephews. Definitely worth coming by.

This store has such great stuff, and the staff are always extremely helpful. They have helped me pick endless successful birthday presents for kids I don't know very well, as well as great toys and books for my own child.

A cozy toy store, packed with both popular and unique items (including candy!) Add a welcoming staff and you get a local shop worthy of support.I was looking for rare Hot Wheels cars and was directed to a different brand. More larger and unique cars based from real life, I had to get them. Kids love 'em as well as I, a man-child that is very particular in my choices.I wrote a Google review about another local toy shop in Toronto that I won't name here. It’s no surprise that when you show up to a kid’s birthday party in the neighbourhood, everybody’s gift is wrapped in the same wrapping paper. Playful Minds is so reliable for having the best selection of toys, books, and games, we never have to wonder if we’ll be able to find the perfect gift (no matter what age we’re buying for). Bonus: free gift wrapping! Extra bonus: if they don’t have something you’re looking for, just ask and they might me able to bring it in for you. Such a gem!

TERRIBLE shipping.They will ship your 120$ boardgame in brown paper.It will get destroyed and they will refuse to pay for the shipping back.They have TERRIBLE shipping policy.I'v been trying for a week to get a reply to my email. None.Got to call them but they refused to help.Terrible.

The store is designed in a very unique and cute way. Tiny hallways, beautiful lights, and toys in every place you look at.The variety this place had was beyond me. There were legos, books, board games, mugs, tiny figures, and much more. The atmosphere is pretty nice and calming and the lady at the cashier spot was quite nice in our limited interaction since I didnt buy anything.I was browsing all the toys and figures and I was thinking of buying something until I looked at the prices listed for the items. All the items were waayyy overpriced and it just didnt make sense to me to pay so much money for a small souvenir of some kind.All in all, it was a fun experience just browsing the store and seeing all the unique and cute toys they had.

What a pleasant surprise! This place crams a lot of variety into a tiny space and the staff know it all like the back of their hands. We avoided it right before Christmas because we were not quite ready for close quarters during COVID but right afterwards it was one trip for all the nieces and nephews. It’s the best place for all the kids.
