M and J went above and beyond during a recent service call for us. They came to investigate our 16 year old hot water tank and low water pressure. They explained what we needed (turns out our well bladder was the the main issue, not what we even thought) and the owner Matt came to our house after hours and installed. The prices are very fair, staff extremely knowledgeable and they explained things in a way that non-plumbers can understand. The payment system is super easy and a call that I would normally dread making or hate seeing the invoice for... turned out to be a great experience! 10/10 would recommend! Very satisfied customer.

I contacted M & J PLUMBING to get a second opinion on a draining problem after being informed by another company it would be a big job involving digging. I was very pleased when one of M&J's plumbers had it fixed in under 2 hrs. and no digging.I continue to rely on them. Matt Girard, owner, is a genuinely decent guy. I called M&J because there was mystery water splashing from a pipe and spilling out into my basement when I used my dishwasher and washing machine. He came quickly, and was maybe the sweetest human on earth? He worked efficiently, indentiying and resolving the issue in an hour.I highly recommend this company. As someone who moved to Peterborough a couple years ago, I don't have a vast network of solid contractors. It was so great to have such a positive experience with a this service provider.

M&J provided top quality service and installation of our new electric hot water heater and pressure tank. The job was clean and neat and i was glad we went with the Rheem Classic Professional it provided superior quality. Reliable and affordable! I have used M & J Plumbing exclusively for 12 years now. My last house they did full tear out and remodel of both the master and second bath and they look like something out of a designer magazine! They work with you within your budget and will do as much or as little as you want. From the full design review, to the tile work, to even paint...Matt and his team get it done right! At my second house they installed an excellent softener, uv light, and sediment filter system which runs great and efficient! Now also two more bathrooms as of 2021. Only plumber I ever recommend!
