Large size here is like small size at Starbucks. Super popular place because it took me about 10mins to get my mocha. Limited seating and we could not find a seat. Thankfully Brentwood mall provides enough seating at food court. Mocha taste was good though.

This would be my second visit and 3rd taste test of the sweet treats of cakes and pastries. Overall they process the orders quickly at the counter with friendly staff. The goods itself is a bit subjective and personal preference. The croissant bread pudding ($14) for a 6 inch and a side of caramel sauce. It was more than sweet enough without the sauce and was tasty and very decadent. The vegan panna cotta was ok. The sauce on top created a skin on the pudding that left an unpleasant texture in the mouth. I ate around it and the panna cotta was smooth and palatable after. The coconut is very prominent as it was vegan. The coconut cake tastes better as a whole cake than when I bought it by the slice. Maybe cause the cake itself has dried out a bit in the slice form than the cake? I ate it within an hour of purchase, so it was not me leaving it out overnight before consuming it.Overall, a nice little stop over if you’re in the area, but would not make an effort to order for special occasions.

The pastries are incredible. The perfect Maillard reaction, producing a creamy buttery aroma and perfectly browned pastries. The tiramisu was not too sweet and the middle was still slightly frozen and tasted like ice cream (intentional or not, I loved it).

Came here just for the almond croissant. It’s good but not better than other versions I tried around town. Small Victory gets bonus points for having lots of pastries available on a late Friday afternoon . Overall it’s a great place to meet up for coffee with friends. If there are no seatings, no problem…just take your goodies outside. There are plenty of places to sit outside while enjoying fresh air & people watching.

The croissant pistachio donut was very delicious, light & fluffy and flavorful. However, The sunflower sandwich was not tasty and overpriced for its portion. The interior is nice and friendly staff!Overall I think it’s a good cafe if you want to have a good pastry.

This place is bustling! I loved how there is a separate space where you can watch the baristas make your order in the center. We sat at the counter on the barista station which had hooks to hang your belongings. No outlets but free wi-fi :)The cinnamon bun was my favorite. A very decadent and sweet treat! The pistachio croissant donut was filled with lots of pistachio cream. Less sweet than the cinnamon bun.For my espresso, I was given 3 choices of beans to choose from. One was a decaf option.

Great location, loved the setup. I had a croissant and capuccino, which were really tasty. My friend who comes here often was greeted by his name by the server, which was impressive. I will come back once at Brentwood Mall. I need to try one of the sourdough bread loaves or a baguette.

A good selection of coffees and pastries, I like the coffee bar concept design. I tried Latte and Trimaso that was good. I gave 4 stars because the table wasn’t clean and the dishes were left by previous customers, the staffs should clean it up more regularly to keep them clean.

I found this place a couple of years back on my semi yearly trip to Vancouver 2 years ago and I have beed coming back for more every time I come back. This is for sure my favorite coffee shop in Vancouver.I have been to a couple of their locations and the quality and taste is consistently great. The service is overall very good. Cool ambiance they could have more seatings but no reason to leave a bad review. My favorite is their Salted Caramel for coffee and pistachio donut for pastry. I have tried a-lot pf their sweets and savories and most were very good both from a taste and quality standpoint.Price point seems to be the biggest complaint about this place. I am from LA and I can tell you the prices here are fairly reasonable. 5 dollar Latte is not cheap but how much do you pay for a cup at Starbucks? I personally would not drink a Starbucks drink if they give it to me for free so I have not problem paying a bit more if any to have this versus the junk they give you at Starbucks both from a taste standpoint and quality. Similar drink and pastry in LA is 6 plus dollars and the pastry is 4-6 dollars. That is US Dollars. So to me this is a bargain. They also have great Cakes.5 for Coffee5 for Pastry and Cake5 for Service4 for Ambiance ( they could use more seating area)
