MacArthur Park Cottage

Had a great relaxing girls weekend! The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and the outside view was so gorgeous. Time well spent would love to return again.

It was a blustery weekend get away, but this cottage is cozy! Had a wonderful time celebrating a special birthday. The cottage is well appointed and is beautiful inside and out. The owners are very accommodating and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend! Looking forward to staying again in warmer weather.

We just finished a wonderful mini vacation at MacArthur Park in Bayfield. Zac our host was supportive from start to finish providing excellent communication on everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. This lake front cottage is beautiful and provided everything that we required to enjoy your stay rain or shine. Our family who was there to celebrate our mothers 85th birthday felt at home right away. We will definitely book this wonderful spot again. Thanks Zac.

We were wanting a break from working online in the city and MacArthur’s was a beautiful escape.Even though it was a bitterly cold time of year, the views of water and the ice forming on it were amazing. Each time I walked through the main area, I was in awe. I felt so peaceful.The lake and wind are a bit noisy at this time of year and you could hear it when you’re in the lakefront upstairs bedroom however some earplugs and white noise drowned it out for sleeping. The noise was not an issue in any other part of the house.It was truly a wonderful escape and I was sad to leave. Looking forward to my next chance to stay at MacArthur Park Cottage

We just finished our second family stay at McArthur Park. This is a beautiful home with every amenity, activities galore, and lots of space to spread out and be private. The wall of lake facing windows allow for stellar views in any weather or season, with beautiful outdoor spaces when the weather permits. This gem is oniy a short stroll from picturesque Bayfield's main square and is truly worth every penny!

This place is breathtaking! The views are out of this world. Loved getting to watch the sunset every night with my family and making memories we will have forever. Zac and Maddison were great hosts! Would rent this place again!

We spent Thanksgiving break in MacArthur Park and could not be happier. The house is very nice with everything needed. The view on the lake Huron is absolutely beautiful. Don't miss the sunset because it is a dream. I definitely recommend this place also because Zac, the owner, is very responsive. Thanks to his digital welcome book with many helpful information, there is no stress possible. I hope we will come again.

We had a girls weekend at MacArthur Park and it was amazing from start to finish. We had seen photos but they did not do justice to how gorgeous this cottage was. We stayed from May 13-15 and it ended up being 30 degree weather the whole weekend. Being steps away from the beach, we felt like we were down south. I loved how there were so many bedrooms with large king and queen bed options. Everyone was so comfortable, and Felt like there was lots of room for all 12 of us. The overall consensus when we were leaving was that we all wanted to book here again! Thank you Zac for being so accommodating with my additional asks, it made everything less stressful and very relaxing.

It is fair to say that five stars is not enough. The views are absolutely stunning and the cottage is centrally located. We immersed ourselves in the local area by visiting Bayfield and Goderich and were even lucky enough to catch the Goderich night market.The cottage itself is really well maintained and well stocked. The beds were also very comfortable (often a rarity for a cottage).It was the perfect getaway for our family and we are grateful for the memories we created here. Thank you so much to Zac and Maddison for sharing this incredible cottage with our family. We hope to be back soon.From my six year old niece - We loved the games, especially the Game of Life. We even got it ourselves in downtown Goderich.Our family can't recommend this cottage enough!

Perfect location and the house is exactly as described. We (my 82 y.o. mother, my sister and my niece) spent a few nights in April for my sister's 50th and had an absolutely lovely stay. Zac is an excellent host: very professional, friendly and accommodating.As mentioned by other reviewers, the sunset views from the house were truly spectacular!
