Canadian Tire Auto Service Centre

I dealt with Crystal and she was fantastic. She was extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Such a refreshing change to be dealt with in a friendly manner.

I just moved to Vernon from Alberta and needed to get an out of province inspection on my car as it was 7 years old.. After bringing it to Canadian Tire in Vernon for an inspection they ended up failing my car over roughly $3500 worth of work that would need to be done for it to pass the inspection. The guy who did the inspection didnt look competent so I took it to another shop in town for a second opinion and thankfully I did because the second mechanic said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car! Since then I refuse to shop at Vernon Canadian Tire cause they are a total joke!

Had brake issues while visiting Vernon and called multiple places before one could fit me in. Couldn't take it back to OK Tires to retorque the bolts because they weren't open Saturdays but expected no problems finding another place who could do it. Brought it to Canadian Tire Automotive and the Service Manager said he wouldn't unless THEY did the brakes. Crazy for a business that advertises as a commercial vehicle safety inspection place.Down the road Watkins Motors service was open and they did it graciously.I visit Vernon a few times a year, but I don't expect to be going back because of that (lack of) Service Manager.

I have shoped there few time and am very disappointed. First was a faulty bicycle which was returned after a day and they wouldn't return, i was forced to take exchange for another for which i had lost trust. Later i had inspection done foe my car at this place for understanding any issues with my car, the report said they could not inspect the windshield equipment coz there were no liquid,( the bill showed they charged me for topping up any liquid and was never topped up and didnt do a proper i spection)I bought full sets of rims, they showed me a different picture and i received the standard rim after waiting for a long time. Upon asking they said this is what you get for 90 dollars per rim when i paid 133 per rim then he immediately changed his statment saying the rates had gone up for the rims. They had charged me double for switching winter tire back to summer tires which was disappointing. Whenever you show up for inquiring or for service they make you wait for Long time even if no customers are waiting infront ( you would think they might be working on something else which might be logical however, the funny contradiction is that they receive a phone call while you have been waiting for some time and you could understand from their conversion that they are talking about new quotes) due to time constraints i have given up several occassion and returned without proceeding with what i came for. I now goes to different places for any need and would never go back to vernon canadian tires unless absolutely necessary. They are the worst i have ever seen.

The service I received from Canadian Tire Auto Service Centre was fantastic. I believe the tower was incredibly nice and helpful. He made sure to communicate with me through every step of the process because I wasn't home at the time. He was able to tow my car 16 miles to my apartment within an hour and a half of my calling, and he even backed my car into a parking spot for me so it could be easily fixed. Highly recommend!

Needed some odd ball headlight bulbs and they had them and at the best price

It's OK, they could turn up the AC, looks like the new owner is cheap also.

I only ever come to this Canadian tire to buy tires, because the service is bad almost regularly. The service counter isn’t very friendly, and the communication isn’t clear or helpful. They have messed up with my vehicle for the second time (I’ve had it in three times, the second time was to fix the balancing tire mistake they made the first time…) telling me that they would be able to finish putting on a new tire today, however now won’t be done for almost a week, Friday. That’s a ridiculous timeline for a tire they said they had in stock Saturday. I’ll never be using this service centre for any repairs or recommending it in the future. They’re inconsistent and not thorough, clearly.
