Clearwater Country Inn Motel & RV Park

So the actual accommodations are about 3 star grade. They are currently renovating several rooms. I give extra rating for friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and they smell nice. The appliances in my kitchenette are clean, in very good condition, and seem relatively new. They plow the parking lot as needed. The RV park is nice from what I can see, but I am a guest in the main building. There are laundry facilities onsite for four loonies a load. Amenities are close by, such as fuel stations, restaurants and then a grocery store on the other side of the traffic circle. There's a nice young man at the front desk, whom is very polite, and also a lady, whose radiant smile lights up my day!This a family run, local business. I will glady stay here again.

This place is great !Frizana is a lovely lady from Pakistan who runs this place with her son who is a student but still makes time to help his mom out like a good son does ! The clean, well kept rooms are thanks to Malaika and Murna who work tirelessly and still find energy to be as friendly as can be ! They offer local insight and recommendations with a smile on their face. Its not one of these fancy new hotels, but they make up for it with their home like feel. Fair pricing, comfortable beds, fast wifi and deep bathing tubs with smoking hot water are some of the perks. I found the on site laundry service to be a touch pricey at $4 for wash and 4$ to dry, but they are big commercial machines and I can imagine with the abuse they take, upkeep is a nightmare. They are a hotel and not a laundromat after all. I would highly recommend this place ! Thank you to all the staff from everyone at Surespan Construction for give us a place to call home while we are working in and around this lovely little community.

No benches or chairs in shower rooms for older people to sit on and get dressed. Would have been nice if there was a table in the bathroom to put your bags on instead of putting them on a wet countertop or floor?? would have been nice to have hooks on the side of the bathroom stalls to hang bags. Need to clean the bathroom floors more...tiny garbage can in there with a swing lidTl thats always over flowing. They need a large garbage can. There is no wood but a wood sign and wood shed. No garbage cans for trash. Bad to attract bears getting into bags. Our site had garbage in it. Tin can lids and paper. Bushes needed trimming. Hardly room for my tent wit all the little bushes and trees. 210 for a week no power site. A bit expensive. A lot of road workers stay here I think. Leaving early with their loud trucks.

Amazing stay, staff were great and had a nice sleep, definitely recommend!

Stayed 2 nights, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. When we asked to check out a little late, they told us that it was no problem and even asked if we needed help with anything, a great place to stay for a reasonable price.

Nice clean room,updated bathroom and so close to restaurants that we walked less than a block.Friendly staff, I'd go again when doing the long trip to Alberta.

That was an amazing place. Scenic view and motel was comfortable and cleaning was also nice.one of the most appriciateble thig is their heating system is in good condition.

The floor was softer then the bed and the pillows looked like they are a decade old

Be aware. The owners are charging $184 per night for a room that should be at the $80 per night price point. The reason is simply due to the limited availability of rooms in the area due to TC having workers in need of accommodations and paying the ridiculous rates that accommodation providers are charging as a result. I’m all for free enterprise, however we as not workers travelling through the area had no alternative but to take one of these high priced rooms. We specifically asked if the room had working air conditioning. Of course she said yes - and of course the truth was NO!We brought it to her attention the next morning. She argued that “it was new” (so that apparently means it works) and refused to take accountability. It was set on 17 degrees all night, temp in room was 26.Meanwhile the maintenance man sits outside our door waiting for us to check out of the room he’s contracted to work in. He was told due to the required maintenance there wouldn’t be anyone in it.Check anywhere else before checking in to this place.

No stars. This will be the Last time I ever rent a random room without checking beds. Bedbugs in this place. Not just a scraggeller either. Tons of them. My son was laying down and realized he was literally sleeping on a bedbug infestation. We left this hotel at 2am, with the woman working there denying any wrongdoing. While offering a refund or a new room, we opted for a refund and had to waste 2 hours cleaning our stuff and searching for an alternative hotel room. Do not go here folks. Until they admit they have a serious problem and do a deep clean and bedbug treatment, this facility should not be open to the public.
