Light house looks amazing! Was there Saturday and they have done a wonderful job with the up keep.

Cape Jourimain Lighthouse
Interpretation centre is closed for the winter. Probably took about 20 min to hike down the trail to the light house. Not much around so be careful

Awesome place to stop and stretch your legs with a short walk to the lighthouse or check out the museum. It is located on the right before you enter the bridge to PEI

This is such a perfect spot to stop and relax and to explore the area. You get to enjoy nature, the Northumberland Strait and the Confederation Bridge. Or if you want to take a little walk, you get to get away from most of it and most of the noise and just relax with nature!

Cape Jourimain Lighthouse
Excellent little out of the way hike we encountered on our way back from PEI. The beaches were full of shells to look at, and a great view of the Confederation Bridge, and the trail was pretty easy, but had absolutely tons of bugs, bring strong insect repellent, I got bit like 15 times, and ended up running most of the trail. Lighthouse is very cool, and has some cool plaques with historical info (such as how many times they had to move it due to erosion).

I love coming to Cape Jourimain for the peaceful tranquility where the forest trails meet the ocean. The lighthouse is a beauty. Well maintain and has been moved further back from it's original location because of shoreline erosion. Whether your just stopping along your journey or coming for the day the Cape offers something for everyone.
