Nice and quiet little campground. Liked the location and the waterfront was wonderful!

Went to visit some friends there for the afternoon. We stopped at the registration. I was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable associate who was incredibly helpful. She explained how the day pass works and the cost. We noticed how well kept the grounds were as well as the comfort" station. We had a terrific visit with our friends from the Gaspe. Unfortunately

The website advertises more appealing camp grounds that what you get. Felt like we were camping in the middle of a RV parking lot, little privacy and few trees, like a football field. The site we initially reserved near the water was swampy and water was stagnant, so not clean to swim or sit by. Strong smell. Stars were amazing and staff quickly reaccomodated us but the site had zero privacy. Quick access to the road but you can hear the cars at night which is not appealing.

Decent campground. I felt like it could be a little better maintained. There are other SLPC parks in the area that have better staffing and maintenance, in my opinion. The campground is also directly off of Highway 2 and I'm pretty sure you can hear the 401 in the distance.Good things include a nice view of the water, it's easy to get around, and it's also a short drive to Morrisburg. Very quiet, and felt pretty safe.Side note, and this isn't something the campground can control, but I stayed in the centre campground near the beach, and from what I could tell, the bugs in that area were far worse than in the part of the centre campground that was closer to the washrooms and main entrance. Just something to keep in mind when you're booking. There were several big flies around, too - I think they were horse flies as they kept biting me!

It was fun glamping here. Close to every thing. Clean, good service. You have to reserve in advance.

Booked a 15A site - hoping to AT LEAST run A/C at night. Power has been tripped off 4x 24 hours. We’re here for 3x days, with no chance for A/C this weekend. Staff quick to respond to reset the breaker (which you cannot do at your site), but it appears old system can’t keep up.Book a 30A if you want options for power. We could not run 2 fans (thankfully we brought with us) without losing power.System needs upgrade, for the basics.

We spent a long weekend camping in our trailer and the park is very nice. The service party isn't shared and right beside the trailer. The view of the river let me watch the big ships going past. The water was low but kayaking was still a lot of fun..Park staff were helpful and kept everything clean and tidy.

This is a beautifully well-kept park. The employees are friendly and do their job well. The Ranger and Brianne in the office were helpful, friendly, caring and informative. Although, I was disappointed that the beach was close, the beautiful park more than made up for this disappointment. The sites are large, clean, shady and well-cared for. It is quiet, even though the park is huge with many children and dogs. As a retired couple, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure! The geese can be messy, but they are our Canadian heritage, and are so much fun to watch as they make their trek up the walking path in the early hours, to settle at the front of the park. Pat on the back to Parks Ontario and the great staff at Riverside-Cedar Campground!

This park is beautiful! The refreshing breeze off of the lake is to die for. The views are amazing and there is a fun forest bike trail to explore with the family. Everyone seems so nice. It is also super helpful that there is a grocery store not far incase you forget something. The only negative thing to say is the bathrooms.. it’s not that they are dated it is the lack of cleaning-however they are free! We didn’t use the beach on site as it was closed due to bacteria but we did go to the Morrisburg beach just down the road. We would definitely reserve for a weekend here again!

I recently stayed at Riverside Cedar and found the lots to be spacious and well-maintained. However, I did have a major issue with ticks. After only one day of stay, my dog had six ticks on her. The second day, I found four more. While the campsite itself is nice, I would caution pet owners to be aware of the tick situation.
