The doctor's at this clinic has zero experience and incompetent to do their job and they dont know what hell they are talking about. must avoid

I've been a patient at Clinique D for a couple years now with Dr. Brassard and the team there (my apologies to the group, i can't recall everyone's name). If you've ever suffered from psoriasis you are probably aware of how varied its impact on your life can be. As someone who has had it for over 35 years (and it has also now become psoriatic arthritis) it's easy to become accustomed to dealing with the symptoms. When I first met Dr. Brassard, I was extremely impressed with the system in place and with the clinic. Here are a few thoughts: The clinic itself is very nice and modern and it's in Laval close to Metro Montmorency which is great. The staff is great, very friendly and welcoming, and efficient. If, after the appointment you don't have a follow up they will call you well in advance for your next appt. Everyone waits at the doctors office, and there is a wait but it is really not that much (if you've ever been in other clinics or an emergency room, this is a welcome change). Dr. Brassard and the team are equally amazing. They are always friendly and smiling and more importantly they listen to what you are saying and understand your issues. Dr. Brassard walked me through the process of treatment and we started with UV. Here again, the facility is great. For this treatment no appt is necessary and it's quite rare that i waited long for the treatment. Again, super nice people there to help you when you arrive and explain to you how it works and what to do. As we progressed through treatment options things were always explained well, and ultimately we landed on a treatment that has basically changed my life. I know this is my personal experience for my condition, but the change was remarkable (not instantaneous of course) but i stopped unconscientiously hiding my lesions when talking with people (because they were gone!), many others have also disappeared. They are not all gone yet, but even some of the worst ones are improving. I could go on about that, but it's not really on topic. This has been quite the journey and Clinique D really has a special team there that has helped me immensely. Put it this way: When I went for my follow up with Dr. Brassard after i began to see these improvements it was very difficult to contain my emotions, in fact i couldn't :). I cannot thank them enough for everything!

Serious lack of thoroughness, got an appointment about 2 months ago, was at my appointment for 11 but wasn't called until 11:45, nurse came in, quickly checked my condition, went away, Doctor came back, looked at me for about 20 seconds and said it wasn't covered, dismissed all my concerns and proceeded to tell me it would cost me 120$ for the one on my face and 80 for any other on my body, she then told me I could take an appointment whenever I wanted to get it done, which is evidently a few more weeks from now, not really 'when I wanted because it only takes a few seconds' I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of service offered there, strongly recommend that you find another clinic that will properly take care of you

Disappointing. After waiting 3 months for an urgent appointment with a referral for my daughter's rash (and an ongoing eczema problem, the problem cleared up..but I was happy to go anyway, so my daughter would have a proper specialist to go to for any future flare-ups.) When I showed the Dr. pictures of the rash from 3 months ago, she reluctantly looked at them and told me she could not make a diagnosis through pictures (all I wanted was a second opinion, since this was the reason I was supposed to be here in the first place.) I was told multiple times that my family Dr should take care of her eczema, and once again was reminded by the secretary that I could only come back again if I had a referral. Apparently they didn't want my business. I'll be looking for a dermatologist that actually wants to treat patients. Very cold ambience and treatment.

Is it me or there's people that works in the public sector that shouldn't? All communication was through email. They scheduled me an appointment and told to bring with me few stuff the day of, which includes the original copy of the prescription. Prior to this appointment I saw another dermatologist, because Clinique D took forever to schedule one, and that clinic kept my prescription. Because I saw this doctor, Clinique D didn't want me as a patient and cancelled my appointment, the secretary was rude and very unprofessional. We can see how corrupted the system is in Quebec...

Rude receptionist as all the reviews say. I had an appointment on Monday at 3 pm. You can’t reach them by phone and you can’t cancel online. I called them in the morning as soon as they opened to cancel until after my pregnancy as I have complications. They decided to still charge me saying it has to be cancelled on Friday before 3 which is 3 days in advance not 24 hours. Receptionist kept needing to get in her last word with me even by email. Improve your cancelation platform and stop needing to get in the last word with your clients. You can’t reach them but they’re extremely fast to send you a bill. I won’t be going back there.

I called them a whole day, their voicemail was full, so I couldn't even left a message. Then I sent a request for an appointment on their website. They never called me back. Thanks..

Im putting this review not because I’m happy of the service the dermatologist has provided but I would like to let u know that the fact I insisted the dermatologist to burn a bump on my arm which looked exactly like a wart and that she refused to do so insisting that I was playing with it when I wasn’t has in fact worked and has completely healed .. thank you for going through the procedure of burning it after wasting my time for 3 years and asking me dr referral every single time . I’m sorry that you felt obligated to do the procedure but at the end of the day you need to properly assess the situation, do a proper diagnostic before refusing your patients out of incorrect assumptions . Take the time with your remaining clients so that you don’t make them feel insecure for years when the solution is in your hands .

Avoid this clinic at all costs!! Go to a different clinic. Bad experience. Called to book an appointment and they do not want to book me a second appointment. Their reply go back to your GP and get another referral. Every time you have a new referral the doctor get paid more money by the RAMQ. It appears that a chronic conditions only need one visit. They care more about money than their patients. My rating for this clinic is 0" but this is not an option."
