Golden Fleece Tailor Shop

I was recommended here from a coworker before the buisness was taking over. The new owner was very nice and professional at first. But after a few time of going back and fourth I noticed she got alot more unprofessional. Her kids were all over the shop and I heard they play in there and touch all the dresses. My dress was a slim fitted dress.. well at least it should have been, it was way to large on me. My strap broke right before I went down the aisle which I was afraid of when I went to my last fitting but she insisted it would be fine. I had to deal with safety pins digging in me all night long to keep my strap of my dress on. My sisters had also got their dressed altered there. She was very rude to them and my sisters dressed ended up being was to small on her and she had to let it out again. Also I was told one price the whole time and then before I picked up my dress I got an email saying it was even more when she had not done anything more to my dress. I also wanted some kind of cleavage in the dress and I was told many times I was blessed" to not have much chest. It was rude to me when all I wanted was a little push. Overall I started off confident and was extremely disappointed in the end."

This little shop is new to the neighborhood but the owner has years of experience. I have not received my altered garment, but I was extremely satisfied with the attention and care I received while being fitted and describing what I wanted changed. I will update the review after I receive my completed garment, but I can't imagine being disappointed as the passion and professionalism is obvious immediately.

I wish there was a 0 star button we had 3 dresses altered here for my best friends wedding she made all the bridesmaid dresses to small! And while we were trying to get the dresses fixed she was hard to reach and when we did get in contact she was very rude and demeaning. The brides dress was very poorly brought in and her strap came undone because of the poor stitching before we even got down the aisle. She decided to take a vacation without notifying anyone and had no contact for the dresses that she already had for weeks!! Do not go here 10/10 don't recommend.

Exceptional attention to detail. Succeeds in making my clothes look fabulous on me. Marcia's 30+ years in custom tailoring makes her an expert in her field. Alterations are always done on time and the prices are very fair.

They are now located inside North east cleaners at 78 Oliver Street across from the post office, and I had an outstanding experience getting a jacket fixed.
