Francis King Regional Park - Main Parking Lot
Beautiful little loop that is accessible for wheelchairs and great for toddler adventurers who tire out quickly. The interpretive signs are great to read aloud to them too.There are outhouses available.Be sure to check out the nature house if it's open!

For people with mobility issue I would highly recommend the Elsie King interpretive trail. (Wheelchair Accessible 1k. Boardwalk built through the native B.C. forest)

Great location that's accessible to wheelchairs. The path is easy to manoeuvre. This is generally a quiet and easy walk. Cross the highway for a more strenuous hike.

Francis King Regional Park - Main Parking Lot
Nice park with reasonable parking and better than average park facilities and washrooms. Mild to moderate hike difficulty throughout the park. Proximity to roads in some areas of the park is unfortunate. Interesting creek and swamp throughout the park, as well as at least one small cave on centennial trail.

Francis King Regional Park - Main Parking Lot
I went hiking at Francis King Regional Park with family. I had never been before but I had been told about this abandoned VW Beetle and was excited to go exploring for it. Today I look back on that day and smile at the memories that come to mind, and I’m grateful for the days built around exploring new places and experiencing new things with those I care about most.

Francis King Regional Park - Main Parking Lot
This is a pretty good parking lot. If you park at this parking lot you not only have a place to store your car, but you can leave your car and walk along a lovely set of trails that range from wheel-chair accessible to a proper hike. There is an outhouse, drinking fountain, and nature house located near by.

Francis King Regional Park - Main Parking Lot
Very serene - not crowded with people- sometimes young kids and dogs playing - some benches along path - some slight hills up and down - mostly compact gravel and wood paths over top of the forest. I noticed the maintenance mini truck kind of dug up the gravel path corners this particular trip, this could be an issue for some wheelchair tires causing them to spin or get stuck but we had no issues..although I suspect they'll correct this. The loops took 20 min.

The children and I always enjoy hiking through Francis King Park!Wheelchair ♿ friendly with a boardwalk, washrooms, and an information house.

A wonderful natural park with tons of trails of varying length and difficulty. I love that it has a fully accessible loop that my 80 year old mom can still walk.
