Can't say enough good things. Our furnace was acting up, they came out, checked it out and gave it a good cleaning and tune up. It had issues again 2 days later, and they came twice in the same day until we got the issue diagnosed and solved. Great communication and easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

We had Martins home heating install a heat pump last fall. They not only had a good price on their unit, they were very professional when they came to give us a quote, and install our new unit. A few months ago we had to have our outside unit moved as we were doing an addition to our home. They came back to move it in a timely matter. We will be getting them back to put it back in place as well we are buying another new unit from them for the addition. Nothing but good to say about the whole company!!

Great service

I had a old interior oil tank to replace when I moved into my new house, requested by my home insurance. I selected Martin's for the work, and he was able to schedule the work according to my schedule.His task was to service the furnace (which had not bee serviced in a long time). I believe this was done right, but how would I know?The most important task was the oil tank replacement. The first picture shows the pipes at the time of the home inspection. The picture shows very clearly that the pipes were sealed (and were insulated in the wall).The following pictures show the results post replacement. After the work was completed" I was literally able to see the exterior from inside the house. I mentionned that to Richard but he said that they had not touch the pipes at all and therefore would not have moved. I beg to differ. They offered no solution and pretty much said they would not do anything about it.To add on top of that

Martin's installed a whole-house heat pump for us about 3 years, and they were very courteous, helpful, and proficient in the work. We love the heat pump, and would never have a different heat source in our home again.We recently experienced a 3-day power outage, and somewhere in that time (related or just circumstantial...I don't know) our thermostat died. I called Martin's early the next afternoon, and they had a tech en-route within an hour. He spent more than an hour here diagnosing the issue, making calls to see if the part was covered under warranty, and subsequently installing a replacement (which he happened to have on his truck). He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and explained the problems and solution in understandable terms.Are there cheaper heat pumps around? Yup. Are there companies that advertise more or have a catchy jingle? Yup. Is there anybody better? Perhaps, but I doubt it.Call Martin's. They're great!

We regret having the recent services of Martin's Home Heat to install a LG heat pump. A written document by Martin's states electrical included, labor and materials, all work done to local codes. The work was shoddy with the drilling of 4 holes for 1 electrical wire, leaving sawdust that was never cleaned up and 3 unnecessary holes in the mini home floor for cold air and rodents to easily access the home, after needing to be informed of the issue they did spray foam the holes. After being paid in full they were again made aware regarding the improper electrical they had preformed of which they had previously been informed was not done to code as the written document states it was.Without any permission from the Landlord to be on the rental property, Martin's Home Heat told the tenants babysitter of a need to get to the electrical panel where they proceeded in the disconnection of the power wire to the heat pump and removal of 25 to 35 feet of electrical wire, in the process broke clamps that were holding the wire in place, also they ruined a curtain rod from leaning and putting pressure on it. The electrician we hired to correct the electrical never had a problem standing to do the work. The tenants never received a 24 hour notice to enter the premises for Martin's and had they known would not have allowed them inside, they thought Martin's were an agent for the Landlord and didn't know Martin's had no permission to be on the property. Loose wires were discovered in the connector box by the electrician along with other repairs needed to comply with codes. Loose wires cause fires. The improper work done by Martin's Home Heat can result in the insurance coverage being discontinued and also we can be liable for their improper work in the event of a tragedy. Martin's didn't complete their work as described in writing, they trespassed, stole and never reimbursed the cost to have their work completed to code. Martin's has described me as the most ignorant, arrogant person he has ever meet. If Martin's had performed their work properly as is indicated in writing there would be no problems. Martin's shoddy work endangered the lives and liability of others and apparently seems to think we should accept this. We would not recommend Martin's Home Heat because of their deceiving, shoddy, dishonest practices. They were given ample time and chances to resolve the issue, there was no response from them. Martin's Home Heat ratings with the Better Business Bureau has been downgraded.

Richard and his team are professional and courteous. They came on the weekend to diagnose our problem and was back Monday.All is well.Thanks Martin's Home Heating!
