Little Bird Dim Sum + Craft Beer
Great selection of dim sum! Everything was tasty and seemed homemade. The place was clean, the service quick, the music at the right level (we could still hear ourselves talk and enjoy the jazzy selection). Big thumbs up for their craft beer option (pretty rare at dim sum places). I would definitely go back next time I'm in Vancouver!

Mixed feelings! The dumplings and buns were fantastic. However their fried food (spring rolls, shrimp toast) were FAR too oily. I'm not sure why the shrimp toast can't just be... toasted? The wait staff were okay, but they seemed uninterested and distant. No water was offered. At the end of our meal, we asked to see the menu again. After being given a menu, the server never came back and we had to seek someone out to place an order for more. For being a Bib Gourmand restaurant, we expected better.

First time here for a private birthday party and had such a good time. The staff were very attentive and organized. The food was timed perfectly and served nice and hot. Appreciate the staff for staying late and still starting the next morning!

A little restaurant offers big selections of dim sum. If you have a group of 2 to 4 people, this is the good place to go. Usually, we can't have dim sum at night but it is a good idea. The size of the dim sum is smaller with reasonable price. The food is good.

Love the idea of dim sum for dinr with drinks and Little Bird delivered except for tight space as tables were about an inch apart. I like Haywire Pinot Noir which they serve with light dim sum fair which we enjoyed. Their fried items were crispy and tasty and steamed dumplings and sticky rice were fresh. The portions were smaller than conventional dim sum places as the orders came in a pair or 3s which means if 4 top someone's gonna miss out on the dumpling. They do advise upon arriving of their strict time limit for dining in but we found it sufficient as the food came out promptly and small bites take little time to inhale lol. Hope to return with a larger group so that we try everything else on the menu alongside some craft beers.

There is a lot to like about this place, but it just needs a little more refinement. The story is great (owner is the son of the classic Flamingo restaurant), the concept is good (dim sum at any time) and the food is tasty.That said, they fall short in a couple of ways. The dim sum is good, but I wish they’d also have some more substantial dishes including more veg options…all dumplings and fried food can get pretty heavy. If the concept is drinking and dumplings, they also need a more elaborate drink list and some better specialty cocktails. Finally, dim sum is usually a social affair and most of the seats are small tables of 4.In my opinion, few changes and some better marketing would serve this place well.

Good food. Solid high quality dim sum with modern twist. Especially recommend taro puff.Great beer selections. Looking forward to trying their wines next time.The interior is sleek, while warm. Really friendly staff. This restaurant is a great place to have a drink with friends or on your own.

The dim sum is good and very filling. 3 items per person is a good rule of thumb, as we went 4 and it was too much.The Scallop Taro Puff was a particular standout.The Steamed BBQ Pork Bun was a little disappointing in the bun to pork ratio.
