Lipson, Dr. Jennifer Erin CPSO#: 84588

I have been suffering with chronic eczema for over 8 years and this year was the first time I've ever had it checked. Because of COVID, my first appointment with Dr. Lipson was over the phone, but I was able to send in photos. She diagnosed my skin condition, was very understanding and helpful with my concerns and prescribed me medication that, after only a week of use, has my skin in the best condition it has even been durning these Canadian winter months. I am very thankful that I decided to talk to her. I would highly recommend :)

Phones do not get answered all day long, no voice mail… Doctors are great though

I’m not impressed with this dermatologist’s office. Upon initial consultation, Dr. Lipson was cordial and brief, which is to be expected of healthcare practitioners.However, at the time of my visit, I was not prepared to spend out-of-pocket to have a wart (previously unbeknownst to me) removed from my neck. Dr. Lipson told me that I could simply call her clinic and stop by for a brief morning visit whenever I was ready to move forward with the removal. When I called her clinic to book the appointment, I was told by whom I assume to be her administrative assistant (in a rude, dismissive tone) that Dr. Lipson said my family doctor “can take care of that.” I informed her that Dr. Lipson had said I need only call to book a quick appointment and that I’d prefer a more precise method of removal than liquid nitrogen, considering the wart is on my neck. I was, once again, snarkily dismissed and given a passive aggressive “have a nice day.”I’m sure that Dr. Lipson has many patients with more pressing, non-cosmetic dermatological needs. Nevertheless, that does not excuse a lack of integrity and disrespectful service. If you cannot fulfill a commitment you’ve made to a patient, you can expect them to be frustrated. Passive aggressiveness, apathy, and crudeness, especially given the current state of our healthcare system, is deplorable. If I can state my case with respect and dignity despite being upset, then I expect office staff to respond with a minimum degree of cordiality and compassion.I therefore would not recommend this dermatologist.

I would like to say that from the first phone call from the staff to meeting Dr. Lipson for the first time was a positive and good experience. Both the staff and Dr. Lipson were friendly and Dr. Lipson took the time to explain what I had and was caring through the treatment. Dr. Lipson made me feel very comfortable and provided aftercare suggestions and explained these which I have not had in the past with dermatologists. I left Dr. Lipson's office feeling positive and happier that my concerns were addressed.

Did not find help to my problem on sun spots

Dr. Jennifer is a very lovely doctor!! I feel extremely welcomed. She took time to listen and answer all my questions! Highly recommended!!!
