Our business had shingles torn off in a major storm and the roof was leaking. We weren't the only ones as everyone was affected by this storm. Our business is in Brampton and I tried the company who installed that roof originally and they didn't even call me back. I tried every other one in Brampton, either no response or they said they were too busy. I was asking friends if they new anyone in roofing, and the general contractor for my home suggested Weir Brothers. Scott and his team travelled to our business in Brampton and patched the roof for us. Some major inside damage would have resulted if he hadn't gone above and beyond. It's always great to deal with business owners who care! Thanks Scott, I highly recommend this business.

As a homeowner, I would NOT hire this roofing company due to the fact that they either have not trained their roofers who are Working at Heights, or the employees refuse to use fall protection equipment and ignoring the requirements of Working at Heights. Not one of the 5 workers had any signs, equipment, etc., to indicate the company enforces WAH requirements and/or certification of their employees. Otherwise, the supervisor in charge, who would also be trained, wouldn't have allowed 5 workers on the same roof and not one of them using a harness. In fact, their website doesn't talk at all about safety, and may imply their workers use a fall arrest system in their logo, but certainly didn't demonstrate this today. If there was an injury on the property, the homeowner could be held personally liable for any injuries or losses sustained by the worker. Workers are required to carry a Working at Heights training card on them at all times, and wear the safety gear at all times on the roof. Homeowners can and should demand to see the contract, ensure appropriate liability coverage with the company, and see every worker's certification card, which must be renewed every 3 years. You never know who is watching. MOL inspectors are not the only ones with Health and Safety knowledge.

It was great to find someone who could fit in a couple of relatively smaller jobs at the best price and without sacrificing any quality or workmanship.
