The Second Pup

We couldn’t be happier with the care our Cooper receives at Second Pup! The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly and truly love all the puppies. Cooper always comes home exhausted and the photos show how much fun he has with his friends. They keep the dogs engaged and are always monitoring them ensure they are safe. I love leaving my fur baby in their care and wouldn’t choose any where else. Thanks for being so amazing

Our boy Sid has been going to the Second Pup for almost 2 years. The staff are amazing, so caring knowledgeable and friendly!! This is by far the best doggy daycare in the City (I had toured several). The indoor and outdoor space the dogs play in is incredible ( grass, sand, turf) etc The toys, activities, play structures , pools are enjoyed by all! The staff set up special parties year around for the. Pups, our boy has had a weekend camping party, Valentines, Easter, Christmas etc they also host socials. Our boy is so excited to go, I just have to say “ are u going to see your friends “ and he is at the door waiting and wagging his tale!!! They also host socials. Thank you Second Pup staff for being such wonderful caring people and taking such good care of our boy!!

I feel confident leaving my dog here. What a great place. The “Puppy Mamas” are wonderful. They really know dogs! The staff are continually upgrading their training as well. One happy dog here means one very relaxed dog mom. Thank you Second Pup staff!

Family atmosphere, my dog looks forward to Friday's (Daycare) Completely spent on pick up, in a good way. Good for high energy dog like ours, and its nice to see him play with his friends in there. They will also match your dogs to their activity level which is awesome!

We LOVE the Second Pup! It's more than just a place to drop your pup off and go. The staff truly care about and for all the dogs in their care. We love the structured socials and have learned a lot about dog behaviour and training tips through the staff that are supervising there. We subsequently took the Zen program and the leash training with them and in a short week's time had 2 reactive dogs turn into well behaved leash walkers and made sure I had the tools and support to build their walking skills on my own. I just can't say enough great things about the Second Pup.

I'd give more than 5 stars if the option was there! The Second Pup is amazing! Loving, caring and wonderful puppy mama's indeed. I always have mixed feelings when I leave Kaiser. Mixed feelings because he's apart from us for a bit but I know he is having so much fun! And is cared for! He's like a little kid when I pull in the parking lot. Just full of excitement and just can't wait to get inside so he can play with his friends! It's such a highlight of my day when I see pictures of him on Facebook. I always look forward to the pictures. Especially when every single picture I see are of him smiling and having fun! ! I can't say enough about TSP! My work has been crazy the past 2 months and it's not about to slow down yet, BUT, TSP helps a lot and are very accommodating with my last minute change of plans. I was a bit scared and nervous before Kai had started. Kaiser was and still is a very high energy pup that loves to play all the time if he could. But at the samw time, he used to be scared of other dogs. This all changed when we first went to TSP for oe of their social events. Took his mom and I a bit to get Kai in teh door the first time for social. But by the time we had his leash off, he was a different puppy! Now though, he thinks he can play eith every dog/puppy that he sees and he wants to say hi to everyone when we take him for walks. This wasn't such a big issuewhen he was 3 months, but now that he's a bit older, people see a rottie and they get scared! But Kai is a big teddy bear. The Second Pup has given him that chance. To be more social and learn to play with other dogs/puppy's. Kai has stayed over other places overnight for when I'm out of town. But i have to say, I feel more comfortable leaving him boarding at TSP than anywhere else. Thanks so much TSP!

We love the second pup, my bb gets so excited she happy pees when she realizes where we are going, and we always look forward to seeing all of the amazing photos they take of all the pups throughout the day. They are so accommodating, and have saved us multiple times when something has come up last minute. They also do the cutest extra pawties and events for the pups, 10/10 would recommend (photos of bb at the second pup)

My puppy spent the first months living in a rural setting with an open green space. I wanted the adjustment to living in city to be smooth. I took the time to research different dog daycares on my commute to work path. The Second Pup was the daycare/boarding place I chose. It was a great choice! They provide a big outdoor space and loving caregivers. My dog loves going to daycare! As soon as we turn the corner to the Second Pup the tail is wagging. Second pup provided the love, support and guidance my pup needed to grow into a well mannered and socialized dog.

Saturday Structured Dog Social was SO MUCH FUN! The team was super friendly and knowledgeable. Remy had a blast in a safe environment and made new friends :)! I highly recommend checking it out.

The Second Pup is a fantastic place to take your pup for a day or boarding for several days! The staff is so friendly and helpful and my pup loves to go there for overnight stays and day stays. They cuddle your pup as if it were their own! The staff take pictures of your pup on a daily basis so you can see them having fun. My pup loves it there with all the attention he gets! Thanks to all the staff who work there...they are wonderful!! Won't go any other place!
