This facility is immaculate, very efficient and have extremely helpful and friendly staff! I really appreciate coming here and consider my self lucky not to have to travel to North Duncan to do my recycling!

Island Return It South Cowichan
If you live in Duncan or anywhere South of town this Return-It Center is the best one up to visit to recycle your plastic bottles, glass bottles & milk cartons. Be sure to collect together your old unwanted batteries & electronics to properly recycle them. Return-It accepts your old cellphones, laptops, tablets & more. The best part is this center isn't anywhere near as busy as the one on the North side of town so you're in and out fast. The staff are so friendly & helpful.

No complaints when it's in operation, great staff, clean facility. But, closed Saturdays? I know staffing shortages are effecting every aspect of our society, but for a guy like myself and other tradesmen who work 50-60hrs a week Mon to Fri, weekends are our only option to catch up with life. Surely you could switch a weekday for the Saturday scheduling wise, no?

This place is slow motion compared to Duncan bottle depot. There are no beer flats for can sop everything goes in blue plastic flats- no higher sided ones for odd ball stuff. It is not the same - very slowwww

Excellent recycle service for beverage cans as well as returnable beer and liquor bottles. Accepts electronic equipment for recycle. Friendly staff.

Clean, friendly staff and nicely organized. I prefer making the extra drive to go to this one instead of the one in Langford.

It was disheartening to see the discord in the staff. The young men so jovial and the lady so stressed...maybe? But taking it out on the guys trying to lay blame for a mistake anywhere but herself. Mistakes happen...It got resolved for me, however I felt like the guys would hear about it" after I left."

Lots of space to sort out your empties, hand wash station to clean up after, very clean facility and it's not a super rush to flat your cans as there are more than enough stations for everyone unlike other bottle depots.
