I ordered a rare '10oz Sirloin Canadian Steak', accompanied by 'Homemade Lasagna', for the exemplary price of $39.68.The dish was undesirable at first glance but upon inspection... it was simply disappointing. Reeking with “La Grille Montreal” Steak Spice, the cut was mostly gristle and what wasn't... was tougher than a Witch's ****.I was rooting for the lasagna but it's unseasoned noodles, store bought marinara and overwhelming amount of condensation, left my stomach empty and garbage bin full.I'd recommend going to the local Grocers:- 2x Steaks (Free Range/Organic)- Fresh packs of Rosemary, Thyme, Garlic and- Salted Butterand cooking at home, for just $24.00CAD.

Small portions, high prices. Ordered 6 oz steak, was over cooked and did not seem to be 6 oz since it was a tiny piece of dry meat. Small piece if lasagna and a half piece of bread with hardly any butter. Water was warm with no ice. Husband ordered seafood plate which had 4 little shrimp, 3 rubber, grity mussels and a tiny piece of fish. The baked potato was just a little bigger than a salt potato. The only good thing was the waitress. I do not recommend this place at all!

A later meal with appetizers only and one soda drink and one glass of red wine. The restaurant was mostly empty with only a group of four at another table. Plenty of take-out orders that evening. The food was hot and had sufficient portions. We were seated and then waited before the server arrived to take our food and drink orders. In fairness they are searching for servers there, this is common now in restaurants here. Prices are in line with other places in the area.

Had a great time here and found the staff very friendly and attentive, food was good , the only problem I found was the batter on the fish was too oily, other than that the night went very well.

We arrived in Smithers shortly after 7pm and we're headed to steak on main. Although they were closing at 8, they seated us and took our order with half hour until closing. The lady serving us was extremely friendly, and greeted us with a smile. Our food was delicious, we left with full tummies and very grateful they were able to accomodate us even though it was so close to closing time! Awesome service and food! We will be back!

Bland food, the fish and chips was so greasy it made me sick the following night, my guests also.claimed their meals where not very well put together. On the plus side, large accommodating place, great front end workers who are very passionate. just need to add a little spice and maybe put your food in the grease for less time. I don't think we'll be coming back again any time soon.

This is a long time favorite restaurant in Smithers. Although with the Covid restrictions they have stopped the salad bar it's still a great place to eat. They are following the Covid rules while still ensuring a pleasant experience.

My dad and I drove down from Alaska and this was the first really good meal we'd had in a while. The burgers we ordered were excellent and our server was fantastic. The restaurant had 3-4 other groups as well but she juggled them all pleasantly and really made everyone's experience great. We'll definitely come again on our way back up.

Cold, rushed food is not usually a great combo. When you add the fact they refused to refund me for uneaten products, i guess you can proceed at your own risk.

The 'salad bar' buffet was great. Wide selection of hot and cold entres, salads, soup, and dessert.The rest of our group had a variety of menu entres that were also good value.The service was friendly but we had to ask for enough cutlery for our group and for water refills.I will glady eat here again.
