Residence Inn by Marriott Halifax Dartmouth

This is one of the nicest, cleanest hotels in the Halifax Dartmouth area. The pool is Clean and the water slide is awesome, we had a great time here and will be back! Thank you

Rooms are nice and clean, staff at check in was not the greatest, booked early check in and late check out as a member and was not given either. And what is with this breakfast ewww… is this suppose to be sausage??? Fruit or lack of….and no idea what that other “meat” is… may as well go somewhere else for breakfast or eat in your room this was awful service. I won’t be back to this location.

Stayed for a month. Everything was good. After checkout, they charged heavily for pen marks in the couch. It is unacceptable price. People coming with kids aware of it.

For the most part, my stay here was excellent!Room was very nice and modern, bed was comfortable, great view, quiet room for most part, good temperature control, front desk was great, hotel is conveniently located to many shops and places to eat.Unfortunately, I do have 2 complaints. The first is with the shower, and the absolute lack of pressure and door coverage. You cannot close the shower door (there is no door), but there isn't enough water pressure or water generation in general to provide enough heat to outdo the cold air coming in from the lack of door. This feels like poor forward thinking with design.My second complaint is with the morning cleaning staff. Vacuuming right outside my door at 7am, completely waking me up. Why do this so early, and why right outside somebodies door? I understand things need to be cleaned, but the majority of people (especially on a weekend) are still sleeping at that time. I would be worried about staying at this hotel again for this reason.

Comfortable stay! Great service and amenities… new favourite spot to anchor while we are in the city!
