Stopped in to purchase a fishing license for a visit to the area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very very very top notch tackle shop. Im from Michigan, I wish we had more tackle shops like the boat Doctors here. We fish Lk Ontario for a week over the 4th of July every year, owners Jim and Karen are always more than generous to help out in whatever we are looking for. Their prices are very reasonable. The selection of salmon gear is amazing... I dont know how they have so much stuff in there!! Quality, prices, and customer service is outstanding!!!Thanks for turning our trip ever year, into memories!!!

I've got 3 older boats. A 1943 Jon boat with various old outboards. A 1968 StarCraft 18' with the first I/o ever made, and a 1986 StarCraft islander 22' inboard. Needless to say I'm always searching for old outdated parts. I've spent a ton ordering online or buying off horrible shops like drydock marine. I've had a problem with almost every part I've ever purchased from any other sources. The guy there always gets me the right part, it's always the highest quality, and when needed he explains everything I need to do and most importantly tells me what not to do. It might seem like things cost an extra dollar or two sometimes but if it's correct and lasts it's worth every penny. If you spend time around olcott you will hear many great things they have done for the whole fishing community here. The guy runs a website for free. Helps every charter captain in the area. Posts fishing reports and conditions. The store is small and mostly geared toward trolling but has enough to get you fishing and for the trollers if he doesn't have it you do not need it. He is open every morning at like 5am with coffee and a smile. Wish he had more room to carry more stuff but he has what you really need and will tell you when and where to use it. If you have an old boat or even a newer one this place is where you want to go for parts and service. Hope there in business as long as I'm alive cause you just will never find a better place with better service. I've had to take new people out a few times over the years and they are open and selling licences and derby tickets long before the sun comes up. If you never been there and need parts it's worth the trip to get the correct part here. Just checked the bellows I got 5 years ago and look new. I never got more than 2 years when purchased elsewhere. Last set at drydock cracked after 6 months. Also coils and carb kits for old outboards always has what I need or will order it. Great place and glad there always there when you need them. Can't wait to start the year, hope the boats are ok but if there in need of some tlc I know the boat doctor will be there to help me. A shady business who tries to sabotage other much smaller businesses because they feel there a threat . I won't be doing business any time soon. Master batters bait shop is ran buy an honest guy trying to help fellow fishermen and his community. Look him up on Facebook. Top notch guy and honest

They have a nice selection of products and services, and prices are very fair. On top of that, the owners are really great people!
