Sheldon Point Trailhead
Great hike with moderate terrain, beautiful views and scenery.Start the 4k hike from the trailhead, you can then either double back or walk the road on the way back. It's worth noting there is a pretty steep grade gravel hill if going from the beach back to the trailhead. You may want to turn around when you reach it.

This is a really great trail. Fairly easy going as long as your prepared with some good footwear. There are short offshoot trails along the way that allow for very nice views of the Bay, Partridge Island, and the West/East side of Saint John. The trail brings you out to a very nice picnic area right on the water with even more amazing views and includes portable washrooms.

A perfect getaway from the daily grind and minutes from West side coffee shops, fast food restaurants, and shopping. When you enter the trail, the noise of the city drops away into blissful peace and quiet. Expect company as the trail is home to many birds, squirrels, and maybe the occasional deer!

Pretty decent trail starting near the entrance of Irving Park. It takes you from the parking near McLarens Beach all the way to Sheldon point, and continues on to Saints Rest Beach. Near the entrance of the parking lot, you'll find picnic tables, and barn, and wooden latrines. The trail is 4.0km one way, moderate difficulty, taking about 2h.

Great to have this area to walk in. For those of us no longer young and fit it can be challenging on some of the hills.
