Mama Dessert

I really liked the tofu dessert with ginger syrup! It was super soft and not overly sweet. The mango sago dessert was a lot more watery than I expected. If it was more viscous then it would have been perfect. We went around 10:30 in the evening and the wait was no more than 15 minutes!

Delicious dessert! As an Asian wasn't born here, dessert here are awesome! Great taste, great fusion idea, made traditional Chinese dessert to another level. Love it! Strongly recommend this place!

We checked out this NEW asian dessert shop located in Chinatown. Everything we ordered was so goooodd!!Please be patient, expect long wait time, as the staffs are doing their best to provide quality over quantity desserts. The service is super friendly btw.Highly recommend the tofu pudding, Japanese cheese coin waffle

Was very excited coming here, seeing the line up thinking it must be good to wroth the hype. The line up and prepare time was not as bad as other comments are saying either. I ordered cold grass jelly + taro mochi. The grass jelly is refrigerated cold but the mochi are warm which makes the whole bowl room temperature!! It’s a immediate turn off when the temperature is not right no matter how does the food actually taste like. Same thing happened to my friend’s order, the base is cold but toppings are warm. And we ate them right after picking up, it’s not like we waited a while so they got warm. Sorry but we probably won’t come back.

We had high anticipation for the mango mochi, but it was a bit disappointing as the mango was not sweet and tasted watery? :( The mochi is unsweetened and had a really powdered taste.We ordered the pandan dessert bowl, handmade taro slush, and tofu puddings with add-ons of taro mochi, milk pudding, grass jelly, tapioca, and taro ice cream.Taro ice cream and taro mochi were delicious and soft! tasted fresh as there were chunks of real taro in the drinks.Pandan dessert bowl and handmade taro slush were extremely sweet, could not finish.Employees were kind and understanding, they messed up on the ice cream order but fixed the mistake immediately. Wait time in line was about 20mins around 6:00pm and 5-10mins for the food.There were dead fish in their display as they kept fish in tiny glass cups :(

Took us 30mins in line before we got helped and 30mins to receive our order. We ordered few different desserts.. tofu fudding is okay but not much of the syrup. The crepe cake is smaller than the picture but it’s okay. We ordered Taro mochi ice cream, it’s good; Vanilla mochi ice cream but got Durian instead; Strawberry mochi ice cream but half of it is just the mochi wrap. We only enjoyed the giant mango, milk tea and the taro mochi.. but we’re disappointed on half of our order.

First time going we were told there was a 90 minute wait so we left. Tried again on a weekday and called ahead, lucky there was no wait.Overall everything was okay nothing special. The durian mochi was the highlight, I would come back for that. The giant" mango mochi wasn't so giant but it was good. The tofu pudding was bland and was barely warm

Forgot to take a photo of the giant mango mochi.Went during the soft opening so definitely still learning.My only issue was my strawberry one was filled with whipping cream instead of the red bean that’s shown in the picture, and everything is quite pricey, the 10 yen coin sucks but I felt like the strawberry mochi and the mango ones were good.
