Stayed here because I've wanted to check it out for some time. A bit off the highway but easy to find on paved roads. We got a GREAT spot right on the water and only $15. I will definitely be back. The only possible downer would be that I'm sure it gets a bit packed on summer weekends, we were here late September. Nothing beats waking up to the sun rising on the lake right out your window.

Last minute weekend trip to Peterson's Beach was great! Called Gary the caretaker of the site expecting it to be full but he had room for us. Called back shortly after adding another camper even more last minute and he was able to accommodate us both no problem. Side by side to boot. Cozy site on the lake, with some beachfront sites and a boat launch. Checkout the volcanic rock on the shore. Can't wait to go back.

Nice place for sure. Sites are a little small, well kept. Big firepits right on the lake. Great fishing, swimming and hiking. Lots to do. Really cheap to! 12$ a night and a full wheel barrow of good dry wood is only 10$. Ive stayed at this site twice now and definitely will be making return visits.

Beautiful, peaceful campsite with direct lake access & boat launch; excellent maintenance by Camp HostMay 14, 2020, open for day use from 7 am to 10 pm. Very peaceful and quiet.

Awesome time camping with the family. Lake was nice yo take a dip in. Little bit of algae but it's clearing up now. Campsite well maintained. Definately gonna go back.
