Waxwell Studio | Waxing, Lash Lifts and Brows

What a stunning studio! I went in for my first ever brow lamination (we did a brow tint and brow wax too) and I'm obsessed with the look! The space is gorgeous, the staff is kind and knowledgable, and this is such a young businesses in Calgary I cannot wait to see it continue to thrive!

After a long winter season I needed a really good dead skin scrub and saw that they offered the Buff. Dragged my husband in to also get the Buff and to my surprise he appreciated it as well. At the time I was 7 months pregnant and Katherine and her team were very accommodating, and used pregnancy safe products and methods. Loved the whole vibe of the spa and the experience!

My 2nd time coming to Waxwell and the lady that did my Brazilian was Karyna…super amazing made me feel comfortable as a newbie to waxing. Overall the ambience and the service is 10/10

I’ve gone to Maxwell twice now, the first time for brow, lip and nose wax and brow tint and the second time for brow wax, tint and lamination and both times I’ve been blown away by the experience and quality! My brows look amazing - I’m obsessed.The aestheticians are really great and personable and the owner is a peach! :) I look forward to continuing to go there for all my waxing needs. The product line up they carry is also top notch - love the Plume and Fur lines and am happy to be able to get both there.They also take extra gentle care of new mamas and even include an option to select whether or not you’re expecting or a new mama when booking so that they know to give you the extra lovin’ you need during those wild times. I thought that was just an extra nice touch that gave me a little postpartum pick me up!

Loved every minute of my services with Maxwell Studios. It was such a relaxing experience getting my very first brow lamination. They will make you feel at home with how friendly and welcoming they are. Would definitely go back and recommend to everyone!

I live in the building and wanted to try out waxing for the first time! I’ve been hooked since my first visit. Firstly, the service quality and friendly atmosphere is incredible. As a nervous and shy person, I feel so welcome and comfortable as soon as I walk in. Second, all the services are quick, easy to tolerate and have incredibly long lasting results. With minimal irritation as well, which is huge for us folk with super sensitive skin. If anyone is looking for a new waxing/hair removal location, THIS IS IT! Couldn’t recommend this business more.

First of all what a BEAUTIFUL studio!! The ambiance and expertise from the team for my first time experience of getting my brows laminated was amazing! I will be going back on a regular basis for general upkeep and treating myself. I highly recommend!

Very good service and nice staff! Had a bow wax and tint for my service, and I’m so happy with the results! I am very fair and have white coloured brows and I’m so happy with how they look for the colour and the shape. Alyssa was amazing!

I over plucked my brows back in the day, and have had lash extensions for most of the past six years. Both needed some love. In one hour at Waxwell I ended up with tinted & lifted lashed, and laminated & tinted brows. I couldn't even believe that I had that many brow hairs still to work with - so, so impressed. The space is beautiful, the people are wonderful, overall a five star experience.

Its taken me so long to find a wax studio I could trust. I absolutely adore the ladies at Waxwell and the space itself is stunning. You can tell they put a lot of thought not just into the aesthetics but the well-being of their clients to ensure they are well taken care of.All staff are extremely knowledgeable and skilled at what they do. I love going to Karyna for Brow Lamination, she transforms my faded eyebrow tattoo that I find myself self conscious about into a refreshed look that I’m happy to show up.Highly recommend Waxwell!
