Glacial Waters Spa at Grand View Lodge

Had an excellent massage day with my sister at Glacial Waters. Their newly renovated facility is gorgeous, our massages were very relaxing, and the staff courteous and welcoming. We loved that we had the option for robe sizes which is a welcome departure from the one size fits all spa experience.

Was not told ahead of time that the Sauna & Steam Room were not available. The Massages & girls were very good, receptionist did give a 10% discount but wasn't really on the up n up about pricing, She said, the price varies from $135 to $165 depending on experience. We were charged $150.00 plus Tips."

My husband and I went here for a day of massages and relaxation, hoping to enjoy the many amenities offered. The massages were GREAT, but the spa is NOT well-suited for men or couples. After our massages, we had hoped to use the steam room, sauna, etc. (there used to be steam and sauna in each of the respective locker rooms). For the men, there are NO such things…they have to use the co-ed facilities (and we did not bring swimming suits). There is ONE shower in the men’s locker room, and when my husband went to shower after his massage, there was one guy in the shower, and another one waiting! For the money ($160 per massage PLUS tip, so we paid nearly $400 for both of us) we felt like we didn’t get to enjoy the facilities. The massage therapists we had were both excellent…just really disappointed in the availability of amenities. I do NOT recommend Glacial Waters Spa at Grand View Lodge for men or for couples. If you’re going by yourself or with your girlfriends, it is a lovely facility.

Aside from my esthetician amy this was the worst spa experience my family has ever received. Starting with the front desk staff being very rude and short with us. Then my handicapped mother being treated like she was a nuisance. Her esthetician (not sure her name as she didn’t take the time to introduce herself) barged into my appt room while i was laying with steam on my face telling me i “have to go help my mother” making me panic only to see my mother laying in the bed just fine. Check out was just as bad. Receptionist huffing and puffing because we asked her to call the shuttle not removing her “loud earpiece” to talk to us. HORRIBLE experience. Anyone disabled even just slightly i would recommend staying away due to lack of compassion and accommodations . My mother got nowhere near the same treatment the rest of our party of 5 got.

So peaceful and tranquil, I'm here in the winter and my skin felt like it would crack and fall off! I got the body scrub & moisturize, which consisted of full exfoliation, rinse, then full moisturize. I added on special foot treatment and scalp massage. It was a very good day!

Beautiful spa. My mom and I had several services each. We were mostly satisfied with the treatments, however there were some price discrepancies that will prevent me from returning. I chose a pedicure starting at $95" from their website

The spa is beautiful. The locker rooms are stocked with all sorts of amenities, as is the relaxation room. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My massage (by Meagan) was amazing. I also had a manicure and pedicure, but would not do that again. It was an express mani pedi and all she basically did was painting nails, which chipped within a day.

From the time I called to book a package, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When we got there, we were brought back to our locker rooms, where we had the chance to change into our robes. Being first timers, we were pretty nervous, but the staff made us feel very comfortable and answered all of our questions.The relaxation room was nice, and the Aveda tea was absolutely delicious! It really helps take the edge off before going in for our massages.We had an exfoliation add on to a couples massage, and it was absolutely wonderful. Our therapists were extremely professional, and walked us through everything. All of the anxiety melted away from the very first touch. The double shower was a nice touch to rinsing off the exfoliation scrub. Both of us enjoyed our massage.We checked out the sauna and steam rooms afterwords, and I highly recommend sitting in a steam room after you’ve had a massage. I nearly fell asleep!The atmosphere of the entire place was great, relaxing… The staff were top notch. I cannot wait to go back!

Had a wonderful spa day with my mom a few weeks ago. We liked the amenities offered and our massage therapists were great. We loved the steam room! My therapist, Andy, was incredible. She took time to figure out which scents I would like used and the massage itself was a complete experience. The best massage I have ever had! I left feeling completely refreshed, with less back and foot pain, and lowered anxiety! (which is just an added benefit) I would 100% recommend booking with Andy.The salt room was okay. It was nice to try something new, but we honestly didn't feel any benefit from it.And the ***ONE*** thing we have a complaint about, is that there wasn't any cool water to drink. They had water dispensers with fruit in it, but no other water options and there were only room temperature options. We feel since we pay so much money for the spa experience, they should have bottled" water readily available so you can bring it with you to all of the different amenities. Maybe instead of the reusable open-top cups they offer

Newly renovated facilities. Outdoor hot tub and salt room (awaiting to pass inspection so not currently available yet). Access to sauna and steam rooms. Nice views and area when waiting for your service. Friendly staff. Restaurants on the resort site to easily walk to.
