I would not recommend renting from this place. I just drive over an hour to pick up a vehicle and each place has different policies. I was met with a rude manager who was upset that I reserved a rental late last night. I can’t control when I require a vehicle rental. Very unprofessional. I recommend going to another rental agency or to the Carleton Place location if you can. They are very friendly and very helpful. This location has extremely rude people. The manager says he has been doing this for 20 years. It shocks me that he is still in business. I believe there was lots that could have been done from a customer service standpoint. However, he was unwilling to help me out. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION.

Booked a car with unlimited km and needed to extend my booking was charged an extra 900$ because when you extend it doesnt cary the previous agreement stay away from these crooks

Recently rented an SUV and it was my worst experience. The back seats started making huge noise when on highway, started shaking as soon as I hit 90kmph. Got a headache and neck pain due to that vehicle shaking. Had to cut short lot of places during my vacation.

Rip off! Booked car and told them that my reservation is covered by my insurance because my vehicle is at shop for repair. They took my claim no, insurance details and went ahead and charged my own personal credit card as well. I am going there tomorrow for big argument

Be warned, if you choose prepayment and bring the car back early you get NO money back. Do not prepay, in fact do not use AVIS if you can help it. I will never deal with them again. $130 ripoff.

The rental experience was fine and all car rental companies are a rip off these days, but the SUV I received stunk. It quite literally smelled of either cigar, pipe smoke or pot, or a combination of all three. It was so unpleasant to drive for the two days of leisure that I had it for. I couldn't wait to get rid of it. This vehicle should have been retired.

Waited my rental for additional half hour but the pick up time was the time I walked in the door. Daniel is not good for this kind of business, pretty much the worst car rental experiences I have had all over the globe. Paid 80 bucks for two days with a dirty interior SUV, where you can see napkins and Tim Hortons paper cup left overs. Will not come back again
