What a great guy! I contacted him at about 9.45am today, dropped off the PC at 10.15am and picked it up at about 11.45am, all fixed - job done! Brian could have told me that it was a big job and charged me accordingly, but he didn't, his costs were more than reasonable - thank you Brian!

Brian was able to take our lap top right away, he diagnosed it quickly and was able to fix the issue and get it back to us in a very timely manner. The price was exactly what he quoted us, with no extra hidden fees or gimmicks.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. He took my computer in right away, backed it up, cleaned it off and re installed all of the programs that I had access to, in less then 5 hours. Amazing job. Couldn't be happier. I own my own company and having the availability of a quality tech person at a moments notice is extremely important. Especially in the type of company I own. I, myself, have owned my own computer business in the past. I know that being part of a company such as IT consulting really has nothing to do with computers, and I know that Kelowna PC Repair has done the best job and sold the best quality items. Kudos to a local company who treats his clients with absolute respect.

Quick sum up: I brought my functional laptop to Brian with 2 missing screws. I've been charged 40CAD and left with two more screws but with a black screen (doesn't responding anymore). I called and he lied saying that I said that my screen was already broken and hung up.I've been to UbreakIfix (that I do recommend). Turns out that Brian deliberately unplugged something in my laptop (I've been shown, it cannot be accidental) to hide that he actually broke the screen. The guy from UbreakIfix just replugged it for free and we could see the big crack that Brian tried to hide, causing distorted colors and a black part on the right side of the screen.So please, never ever go there. The guy is dishonest besides being extremely unprofessional.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I've been to this person to make purchases twice and both times what was advertised was inaccurate. The one time I tried to buy a laptop from himhim he misinformed on the ad... The other time was for a monitor which he said was 1080p, but once I arrived, again it was not. I could not purchase the product after spending the time to go pick it up. Frustrating that a computer repair 'shop' doesn't even understand basic computer specifications.***Update after he rudely called and told me to take my review down.I have all of the text messages proving that he was trying to sell a laptop that wasn't the right specs advertised. Over the following days you would text me and asked me if I was still interested in taking the laptop for cheaper and cheaper. If you would like to insist I can post them here to prove my point.I would like to also point out that I own an IT consultantcy in town. I know what I'm talking about. I was attempting to purchase for a client.

They don't have much experience and are definitely not properly trained, acts like he is self taught. I would never use this buisness.. immediately left after being given a load of lies. I would suggest you find another buisness. I noticed the person that works here/girlfriend is posting positive reviews. That's a big red flag in itself. Other red flag is when the customer knows 10 times more than the computer repair guy. Seriously, that bad.

DO NOT bring your hard drives here!!! Brian was only able to recover 1/4 of the data and charged $200. Complete waste of money as I now have to bring it somewhere else! I had brought it to him the day that my hard drive showed signs of not working. After he failed at recovering my files I had a friend in IT look at it who found the exact same files in 1/4 of Brian's time. (wish I started with that route). This guy does not have the experience nor the tools to properly recover hard drives. Not a professional and I would advice everyone to stay clear of this business.

Tl;dr-version: the guy is dishonest, unprofessional and a liar. Because of that, we are down one good laptop.Full version: Gf brought a laptop to get some tiny screws for the back of the laptop as some had fallen out. This caused the screen to be a little loose, but everything was still working. After retrieving it (and being charged 40cad for 2 tiny screws, not even all 5 that were missing) we notice the screen being completely unresponsive.
